A disastrous party

In the evening… Rain's pov Nadine was surprised to see my wardrobe full of men's clothes, so she gave me one of her dresses for our secret night party. Well, can you blame me? Father was always strict with me, he never ever allowed me to wear makeup or dress fancy like Sylvia. Whenever I tried to touch her makeup, he gave me a sword instead. And now my dressing style was nowhere near a girl. Father even tried to cut my blonde hair short, but Sylvia saved me from that torture and thanks to her, I wasn't completely turned into a man. A white short sparkling dress was chosen by Nadine for me, it was too bold for my appearance and not to mention the white long heels, my feet could never walk in them, definitely not. “This is too much for a girl like me!” My stressed tone muttered. She came closer and clutched both my shoulders with a bright smile on her lips. “You need a makeover!” “You're in Blue Castle high, other students will always judge your dressing style.” I rolled my eyes!! Her warm palms touched my cheeks and she looked straight into my eyes. “You're very beautiful, Rain.” “You just need to slay in my dress.” We spent hours on my strict training…walking in high heels. And after a long torture, I was finally able to walk in them, not an expert though. She did my make up and styled my hair, Nadine was truly a professional. It was a whole new experience for me, but my mind had other evil plans and my heart was feeling somewhat guilty about it. My friendship with her was just an act to get information about my sister. The closer we become, the more she will share secrets with me. As we got ready, she gently pushed me in front of the mirror for feedback. “Is this really me?” My eyes were stunned, they couldn't believe it was me, my stiff appearance was changed from head to toe. The girl in the mirror was a complete opposite of Rain, who spent years in a basement room. Tears replenished my eyes, but I somehow clenched them from falling down. It would be embarrassing to cry in front of her. “Did you like it?” She asked. My head slowly turned to her and a smile glinted on my lips. “Thank you so much for reminding me that I was a girl…thank you.” My eyes finally witnessed the secret passage that students use to go out late at night. The long tunnel beside our girl's dormitory which remains filled with water the whole day, but at night...there's no water and connects students to the outside world. A gate opens at the end of the long tunnel and takes you to the ravishing night life of Marceta town. *** At a house party… The house was as big as a Mansion and it was overcrowded. Half of the students from Blue Castle were present, even our classmates. As soon as we entered the party, all eyes were on me and Nadine. They must be shocked to see this bullied student or perhaps, my presence was unwelcomed. “They are staring!” My body became uncomfortable. “That's because you're looking hot.” She winked at me. My feet quietly followed Nadine to the booze zone and stood beside her like a scaredy lost cat. “Shall we just leave?” “Shut up!” The music was so loud that it was hurting my ears and head, but others were enjoying it like crazy. “Whose Mansion is this?” I was just curious for some reason. She gulped one shot and said his name… “Asher Da Vinci” *Cough *Cough “Are you okay?” Nadine panicked. Her fingers passed me a glass of water and her palm patted my back. “Are you crazy?” “Why did you bring me here?” “We're not on good terms!” My soul never felt so pressured, it was a grave danger!! “Did he threaten you or something?” Her eyes widened. Right! No one knows what happened between me, Asher, and Rocco. Before my lips could say something else… A brown-haired girl approached us with her three minions. She was also the one who instructed the other girls to bully me, they even locked me in the washroom. I often witnessed her talking to Rocco, they appeared to be close. “What do you want?” Nadine came forward and guarded me from the front as her mouth questioned Sasha. “Absolutely nothing!” She chuckled and pushed Nadine to a corner. “Why are you here?” Her evil brown eyes shifted to my face. “And look at your dress!” Her gaze scanned me from top to bottom. “I love white!” She grabbed a glass of red wine and splashed it on my dress. The music stopped, and all the attention turned to me!! Everyone started laughing since my presence was still a bullied student in their eyes. Nadine wanted to protect me, but she was too timid to speak for me, I could clearly see guilt in her eyes. She was probably blaming herself for bringing me here, though her intentions were pure. The drama had just started and his strong presence in the party made it even more interesting for the audience. “Asher” She tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled strangely. Even though it was his party, he was wearing a simple black fit t-shirt and black pants…as if he came to a funeral. His ocean blue eyes avoided Sasha, instead they focused on my face. He slowly came closer, yet walked past us to the booze zone. He wasn't interested in drama!! All of a sudden… Sasha snatched my cell phone from my hands and threw it into the pool. “What the…” My heart was in my mouth. “Oops!” The corner of her lips curved. Everyone else was enjoying the scene, whereas Asher was drinking in a corner…away from the crowd. There was no other option, but to jump into the pool, and so I did it without wasting my time with hesitation. After a short search, my eyes spotted my cell phone under the water. A sense of relief rushed through my veins and I got out of the pool…forgetting my dress was pure white, and now transparent. Everything was revealed underneath that white dress and my arms immediately covered my chest with shame. My soul panicked so much that my feet slipped on the floor and those huge heels broke down in two pieces. Sasha took out her cell phone from her handbag and was about to click a picture of my embarrassment, yet Asher’s broad shoulders pushed her a little as he walked past her and her cell phone shattered on the hard floor. “Oh my God!” She screamed. But fear stopped her from saying anything against Asher Da Vinci. He walked over to me, removed his black t-shirt from his gorgeous body and flung it on my face. I immediately clutched his t-shirt and covered myself with it, without meeting his eyes. His head turned to the crowd and he announced in his devilish voice… “The party is over!” Within seconds, they emptied the whole mansion, except me, who was still embarrassed on the floor. *Deep breath I removed my broken heels from my feet and somehow managed to get up from the slippery floor. Asher was standing right in front of me, yet my eyes looked at the exit and my feet took steps in that direction. Until… “You're not going anywhere!” His heavy voice interrupted. My head slowly turned to him and he slightly tilted his head. “Stay here tonight.” “Go back when your dress is dry.”
