Nadine invited me to her house to discuss something important. She was still not over the fact that I betrayed her for Rain.
“Welcome!”
Her fake sweet smile greeted me.
“What do you want?” My feet stepped back from her cunning presence.

“I heard someone cleared your father's debt, that's very good.” She had spies all around my family.
“But guess what?” Her head slightly tilted.
She walked over to the couch and perched on it with her legs crossed.
