Rain's pov
I opened the door, and it was Jeremy.
“You?”
He stepped inside without my permission, and locked the door.
“You're still awake…were you expecting someone else?” His brow twitched as his mind was suspicious of me.
“Does it matter?”
My mind was quite confused.
He grabbed my wrist and unexpectedly pulled me onto his lap. My soul was startled, whereas our lips were just inches apart from each other.
“Jeremy?”

“You didn't come to our lesson today!” Words came out of his mouth.
I was caught up with Asher so much that I forgot to study with Jeremy at the library. My math scores weren't that great because my mind would never try to understand the equations.
