12 Punishment

Lola’s face was even paler. She sobbed like a child, holding the ring with her bleeding fingers. Everyone was stunned except for Dani, who couldn’t be happier to see the ring broken. “Lola!” When Roger arrived and saw the blood streaming down Lola’s fingers, his heart was broken. That beautiful woman lost her sight, got divorced, and is now homeless, but someone is still bullying her. This is too much! Burned with anger, he was about to say something when Lola’s voice suddenly rang out. “Doctor Lance, my ring… my ring is broken. What should I do?” she said chokingly. Roger squatted down with a heavy heart. “Don’t cry. I’ll find a way out. Trust me.” He glanced coldly at the manager, saying, “Lead the way. I’ll get her wound treated.” The manager, who was blaming himself for not taking good care of Lola immediately left with them. Now that Lola had left, there was no point for Dani to stay here anymore. When she was about to leave, she glanced at the VIP rooms nearby and suddenly lost her composure. She turned to the man who had just stepped on Lola’s hands and yelled, “What’s wrong with you guys? Why did you bully that girl?” The man was stupefied. He had just done what she said. Why was she blaming him? Before he could say anything, a tall, strong man walked out of a VIP room with a grim look. When the others saw his bloodshot eyes, they all broke out in a cold sweat. Blake was chatting with his business partner in the room when he heard the noise outside, but he didn’t take it to his heart until he heard someone call Lola’s name. When he opened the door and saw Lola cry bitterly with the ring in her injured hand, he immediately figured out what happened. At the sight of the blood on her white dress, he was seized with an impulse to kill those b*stards. “How did you bully her just now? Don’t try to fool me!” he said coldly with a poker face. The man stole a glance at Dani but didn’t dare to sell her out, so he only told Blake what he had just done to Lola. Blake fiddled with the ring on his finger, which looked the same as Lola’s, the look in his eyes growing even grimmer. At the thought of Lola crawling about to find her ring, he felt like his heart was stabbed with a dagger, and could hardly breathe. If killing wasn’t illegal, he would have turned those guys into corpses. After that bully finished speaking, Blake said, “Mark, get me some strong alcohol.” His assistant immediately brought him a few bottles of alcohol. No one could tell what he was going to do. Dani’s heart pounded, but she managed to look calm. “Smash them all.” Hearing what his boss said, Mark flung all the bottles to the floor, and a strong smell of alcohol immediately filled the corridor. Blake looked at the broken glass on the floor, then at those troublemakers. “Roll up your pant legs, drop to your knees, and crawl like what that girl just did.” Everyone fell silent. Although kneeling on broken glass would make their knees bleed, the pain was tolerable. But they didn’t dare to imagine how much it would hurt if their wounds were soaked in the liquor. Those guys trembled all over, gasping. “Mr. Harvey, sorry to have disrupted you! We apologize.” They thought Blake was annoyed because they had made too much noise. Blake said impatiently, “I don’t have time to negotiate with you guys. You have two options: Keel on it or watch your families go bankrupt.” Those guys didn’t dare to say anything more. They rolled up their trouser legs, kneeled on the broken glass dipped in liquor, and started crawling with difficulty. The next second, miserable screams resounded on the second floor. Looking at them cry bitterly, Blake remained indifferent and said to Mark, “Don’t let them stop until they spend twice as much time crawling as they did bullying Lola.” “Got it.” Mark then looked at his wristwatch and said, “Guys, hold on. There are only 20 minutes left.” Dani’s heart trembled when she saw those people’s faces twisted in pain. She had never seen Blake so angry. He was now as horrible as a Shura from hell. After quite a while, she struggled to calm herself down, but when she looked away, she suddenly met Blake’s icy cold eyes. “B-Blake.” She forced a smile. “Why are you here? Did you have a hand in this?” Blake asked, making her grow tense again.
