Just as the kiss was getting heated, Phoenix pushed me back and walked away. I stood there dumb founded for the nth time. It's always one step forward and two steps back with Phoenix. I'd say I'm disppointed but I was kind of expecting this reaction. He must be beating himself up in his head. He fell into the bond's trap once again. I could feel my wolf huff with anger.
"So are we going to continue the tour?" I ask following his footsteps and glancing at the water. It must be so nice to be inside the water again.
