Aria Amethyst's Point of View
As the car's engine purred into silence, Blue's deep voice filled the quiet air. "We'll stay here for the meantime. We'll resume our journey tomorrow." I nodded in silent agreement, stepping out to help him unload our belongings.
But my attempts at organizing our stuff in the open space near the car met with a perplexed reaction from Blue. "What are you doing?" he queried, eyebrows arching in surprise at my seemingly random activity.
"You said we'd stay here for the night, so I'm laying them out," I innocently replied, to which Blue responded with a stoic poker face. "Not right here in the parking lot. Let's go down," he redirected, pointing to a dense forest ahead that he mentioned we'd descend into.
