We were nearing our first stopover, and I noticed Aria was still in a deep sleep. It had been almost two hours on the road, and she'd been asleep for almost the same duration.
I glanced at her intermittently, finding her dozing off deeply. Her head tilted slightly, and I couldn't help but smirk. Cute!
"Aria, wake up. We're almost at our first stopover," I said, one hand on the wheel, the other gently shaking her to rouse her from sleep.
"Hmm," was all I got in response. I quickly checked her, and to my surprise, she wasn't waking up; instead, she just shifted her head to the other side.
"Aria Amethyst, wake up. You're enjoying your sleep too much," I teased while gently shaking her. But again, I received a groan in response.
