THIRD POV. As the warriors gathered and prepared to leave, Lenora quickly slipped away. Her heart pounded as she ducked into the hallway of the castle’s side entrance. She needed to act, and she needed to act quickly. She had to do something before everything was ruined. Lenora’s breaths came in short gasps as she ran, twigs breaking beneath her hurried footsteps. She glanced over her shoulder repeatedly, her paranoia growing with every second that passed and with each step she took. Every sound she heard made her jump. Every crack of a branch and every rustle of leaves made her head whip around. Finally, when she was sure no one had followed, she slowed her pace and started to scan her surroundings.
