Gold star

Next to Lexa in the room, I didn't know what Alpha was calling me to the yellow room for. It was strange "What Alpha would call you to the yellow room for? " Lexa's voice sounded intrigued. Apparently it wasn't just me who was intrigued about it. "I think the grandmaster has arrived in the pack. Alpha was very anxious and decided to invite him. I think we will finally know the results of the stars!" I exclaimed "Do you think we'll see the results?" Lexa sounded worried. "I don't know. We'll have to go to the yellow room and find out. Come on, let's not keep the Alpha waiting" I said as I let out a big sigh. Soon we both arrived to the yellow room and not only my parents were there but also Lexa's parents as a serious look. The grandmaster was standing in the middle of everyone with a neutral look on his face. He was a renowned astrologer who gave accurate advice and never made mistakes. The Alpha had tried to get him to stay in the herd, but unfortunately the master was a wanderer who didn't stay anywhere very long. So Alpha had to work hard to get the grandmaster to finally attend the pack. "Ethan, welcome, we have been waiting for you" I heard the master's voice as he shook his hands. Seeing him I quickly bowed my face and nodded. It wasn't the first time I had met the master, so I knew the protocol perfectly well. We promptly sat down next to the couch closest to the big window, while the master was on a seat in the middle of everyone. Indeed, the Leinnoy herd had been going through a bad time, which was seemingly never-ending. Nobody knew what was the reason behind all this bad luck, so it was necessary to listen to the wise words of the master. "Please help us with your guidance" exclaimed the master as he closed his eyes and with his hands took a pair of crystalline stones and threw them delicately on a dull blue tablecloth. After that the master closed his hands and made a silent chant. I could hear his harmonious whispers as his head rose to the sky. As soon as the master finished, his eyes opened and his gaze fell on the crystalline stones scattered haphazardly on the table. "I have found it! there is something in this herd, something is wrong" said the master with a frown. When we heard those words, our expressions turned pale and confused, however, before anyone else could say anything, the master went on. "...which of you has the Southern Crown as its star constellation?" asked the teacher. With this question, we all looked at each other. In fact, when someone was born in the herds, the first thing you did was to take him to the temple and identify his star. After all, depending on the star you knew whether he belonged to good or evil. However, the Southern Crown was a difficult and rare star to identify. "We don't have anyone who belongs to the Southern Crown" replied Alpha after a few seconds of thought. When the master heard that, he became neutral and sighed deeply "No, there isn't. So this pack is already doomed!... Although... I see you have the golden star in the pack. with this you will control the calamities for many years, but..."... At that moment the master leaned towards the crystalline stones and frowned "What has happened? The gold star is gone..." said the master in confusion. Quickly the master's gaze rested on me. "Your star Anser is the faintest. You need the gold star so that together you can put an end to the misfortune that is coming to the Leinnoy pack... You must unite in a bond immediately! How could you lose the gold star?" the master exclaimed. At that moment I was f*****g intrigued... What was the master saying? What was the gold star he was talking about? I was confused, I didn't understand what the master was talking about. "Master, what does all this mean?" asked my father looking at my confused face. "Your pack is destined for calamity! it was heaven that brought the gold star to this pack, but, heaven's wish has faded and the bond that had formed over the years has been shattered! it can't be fixed... your pack's gold star is gone..." "But, master, what does that mean?" Alpha asked again "Doesn't they know?" The master looked calm" "It means that all the fortune that heaven had sent to this herd has vanished, now you will be surrounded by a curse! You had the gold star to bless you, but what happened? your gold star was destined by heaven to another place!" I couldn't understand, who was the gold star? We were destined to calamity from now on! "What should we do now?" Alpha asked with an anxious expression. his herd was about to go lower than it had ever gone in its existence. "There is nothing to do, there is no solution to this calamity! sSart your pack, and choose yourself, nothing can go against it. I have finished, i have said too much and now i can't go on" After saying that, the master just got up from the sofa and left. When we saw him leave the yellow room, I got up and approached the Alpha with a confused expression. "Father, what did the master mean? I can't understand? we are cursed?" I asked. At that moment, my father looked at me without his reddened eyes. I thought he was furious, but, his expression was anxious and worried. he had something else. However, before I could say anything, I felt a heavy blow on my face, I felt the pressure of the blow so strong that my head turned to the opposite side. At that my mother gasped as Lexa's scream could be heard in the silence. "Are you an i***t? didn't you understand? couldn't you understand those simple deviations?" hinted Alpha annoyed. "Father..." Before saying anything, he continued "How can you be so stupid Ethan? Don't you know who the gold star of the pack is? Don't you know who the master is referring to? think Ethan, think! Try to remember who left the pack!" shouted my father as he slammed the table and stormed out of the room. When he left, my mother looked at me with disappointment and went after my father. I stared at the door until I felt the sting on my face. I raised my hand and held my reddened cheek as my mind wandered to my father's words. "Ethan Ethan, are you all right? " Lexa rushed to my side with concern. Who left the pack? who were they talking about? a voice echoed in my head. I tried to think, ignoring everything around me, until a flash of light illuminated my mind... The only one who left the pack was... Tessa! That only means that... Tessa was the gold star! she and I had a destined bond. But she's gone, there's no one now to prevent our calamities. When I finally understood, my eyes widened in complete surprise. I didn't care about Lexa's voice echoing next to me, I was only thinking about Tessa. In that instant my mind was filled with understanding and I was shocked. The pack was about to go into a big measurement, and the only one who could save us from everything was Tessa, the gold star, but, because of me she... she's gone! I lost our only salvation! and now... a whole world of hell will be unleashed on the Leinnoy pack!
