"Thank you." I said to Anne who placed my guitar inside the guitar bag and zipped it close. "You're always welcome." She said and I smiled at her as I grabbed the guitar and threw it on my back. "I'll see you the next practice." Se said. "Yeah. Till next practice." I said and walked away after saying goodbye to our adviser of the club. I belonged to the performing arts club and I mostly took part in singing genre and playing with the instruments because I am good at it. I was already on my senior year and we needed to practice a lot because our senior's day is fast approaching where we have to perform and that would serve as our last performance. I am going to sing with Anne and my friends. I pulled my earphones from my bag and plugged it in my phone and tapped on the pop playlist as I walked to where my car was parked. It was still early as I glanced at the time so I decided to drive down to Starbucks and ordered my coffee only to take it out and decided to drink it at home. I connected my phone on the car media via bluetooth and I smiled when Hailee's Capital Letters played. I turned the volume a little louder before I started to drive back home. I went directly to my room as I drank my coffee and laid down on the bed only to sat up and grabbed my guitar, grabbing it out from its case and I started playing whatever song that came into my mind. After I got tired of playing, I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a bath. I took my time under the shower and after wearing some fresh fresh clothes I checked my phone and Klarissa's name was in the notification and messaged me an hour and half minutes ago saying to get her at the usual place if she couldn't go home after eleven and she also said that she was with Brent. Speaking about Brent, the first time I saw him with his swollen face, there was something about him and it was strange. He gave off a very submissive vibe and I was guessing that he just broke up with whoever was with him. From the first look, I knew he was into guys especially from how he scanned my body that time and I couldn't deny that I felt attractive to him maybe because I felt the need to protect him that time. He looked like the whole world just crushed on him. I could do both ways and I already had a taste of boys before. I was aware that Brent sometimes popped in my mind for no reason. The rest of the night after eating dinner, I practiced with playing the guitar until I got tired and grabbed my phone to check the time so I could get Klarissa. I know she would be too drunk to drive and she knew it already that's why she messaged me ahead. It was already ten so I grabbed the guitar from the bed and stood up to dress myself. I grabbed my wallet and phone before I went out of my room and saw Daryll going out of the house. "Where are you going?" I asked and he looked back at me. "To Glazel." He was referring to his girlfriend and I nodded. It was obvious though. "What time are you going home?" I rushed down the stairs and Daryll stared at his watch, thinking. "I don't know." He said. "You? Are you going to visit your girlfriend too?" Then he chuckled. "I'm sorry, I forgot you didn't have one right now." I smirked. "I already saw one." I said and he chuckled. "I feel sorry for that one." "I don't because I feel more sorry to Glazel." I said and pressed the unlock button of the remote of my car. Daryll just laughed it off and went inside his car. "Don't forget to use condoms if you don't want to be a father." I said before he closed the door and started the car. I went inside my car and set my phone on the phone holder in the middle of the dashboard and called Klarissa's number as I pulled out of the garage and drive down to the gate. It took a few rings before Klarissa answered my call and I could already hear the music blaring from the place where she was. "Risa! Where in the bloody hell are you?" I asked even though I already have a guess where she and her friends were. "I don't know where." I frowned when it wasn't Klaissa who answered and heard Brent instead. His voice sounded so drunk and I could already picture the two of them wrecking the bar. "There's a lot of people dancing!" Brent said. "Brent? Are you drunk?" I asked and I didn't know why I asked that even though the answer was so obvious. "Derik? No. No. I'm... not drunk. I just drank... and... drunk." I heard him chuckled making me frown. He was definitely drunk. "I'm on my way." I said and ended the call then speed up to the bar where Klarissa usually go before. I parked just at the side of the road since the parking area was already full and I searched for Klarissa's car. I saw it at the second row of cars. That bar was known for expensive and nicest place compared with any other bars in that place. I went out of the car and walked to the front doors. I immediately looked for Klarissa or Brent but it was difficult since a lot of people were dancing and the loud music wasn't helping. It was making me feel a little bit dizzy. I slipped in the crowd and went to the bar where they serve alcohols and then looked around. I wasn't sure but it was Brent and he was with someone. With a man and he was clinging so tight while the other man was trying to push him away making me frown. I think it was the man whom Brent cried for that night when he stayed there. It was the man who made him cry and I just wanted to punch that man for doing it to Brent. ******
