The entire background was set to light gray, but the two-dimensional walls delineating the combat playing field were a yellow-green more reminiscent of aged guacamole. All of the intermittent walls scattered throughout the field formed somewhat of a simple maze that the players could hide behind or bounce their guided or straight missiles against. The walls were also the same puky guacamole color that was common in multi-directional shooter games that came with the Atari 2600 console. Gabriel had received the Atari console as a Christmas gift the winter of 1978. Gabriel skillfully maneuvered his reddish tank around the L-shaped structure and fired towards the burgundy-ish tank.
