Chapter TenNo sounds interrupted the night, no growls or shouts. Daniel lay in his bed for a long time, thinking. It had rained most of the previous day; consequently, it had been a long and boring one, with not even a television to break the monotony. Dad had promised a trip to Munich within the next couple of days to buy a television, DVD player, and other such essentials. In the meantime, Dad spent much of his time on the phone or going into Füssen, returning with canvas, paints, and brushes before disappearing into the attic room for hours.
