"Okay, we are down to four guys!" the emcee exclaimed.    The crowd cheered loudly again.   "Question number three: which of the following foods do you think your lover will choose if you go to a restaurant? Pasta, Steak, Chinese? Ready, guys? In 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Show your answers!"   First guy: Pasta   Second guy: Steak   Third guy: Steak   Fourth guy: Steak   "Ohh… three guys have the same answer. Is there going to be a winner already, or will our game continue?" The crowd cheered as the suspenseful drum rolls echoed in the room.  "What's your answer, Cytherea?"   "Steak," she confidently answered. Ares loves rare, cooked steaks and she knows she gets it right.     "Uh-oh, I'm sorry, Pasta Guy. You're out of the game."   The Pasta Guy revealed himself. It was Jessie who made the wrong choice. He went towards Cytherea and the emcee and hugged them before going down the stage.    "I'm sorry, Jessie. I guess this is not one of your lucky days," the emcee commented, which earned laughter from the crowd.    Cytherea was just smiling at the emcee's side comments.    "Okay, we are down to three guys. Now, our fourth question is very tricky. We heard that you like flowers and you know its meaning, is that right?”   “Yes, it is.”   “Okay, now this question is actually about you. Let’s see if your lover knows you as well, just like how you know him,” the emcee did a knowing smile and Cytherea can’t help but feel nervous.    She bit her lips.   “Fourth question, using the flower as a symbol. What kind of flower are you going to give to someone to show that you promise him that you’ll wait for him? To show that you are dedicated to him, Astilbe flowers or blue roses? Okay, guys, in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Show your answers!”   First guy:  Astilbe   Second guy: Blue Roses   Third guy: Astilbe flowers   “Is this the end of the game? So, Cytherea, what flower will it be?”   She was stunned by the question. Her eyes widened. She looked at the crowd to see if someone was looking suspicious, but all she could see was the crowd looking intently at them. She couldn’t find anything in the crowd. The emcee kept calling her name, but it seemed like she was not noticing it.   The emcee had to touch her shoulder so that she could get Cytherea’s attention. Cytherea looked at her and smiled apologetically.    “I’m sorry, what were you asking again?”    “Are you looking for someone in the crowd?” the emcee teased.    “Oh, no! I thought I saw someone familiar. I’m sorry for that.”   “No worries. So, what flower are you going to choose? Is it the Astilbe or the Blue Roses?”   “A-astilbe,” she stammered. She is praying that Ares remembered what she told him about Astilbe. Ares was not into flowers and there were times when she told Ares about something. He does not remember it most, especially if he’s not interested.   “The one who answered blue roses, come out now!”   The crowd gasped when they saw who got out from the backdrop. The emcee’s jaw dropped when she recognized the man. She couldn’t believe what she just saw.   “Oh my! This is a remarkably interesting outcome.”   Cytherea looked in the direction that the emcee was looking, and her eyes widened as well.   Ares had a disappointed look while walking towards them.   "Aw, the lover got the incorrect answer. Don't worry. We will just borrow your fiancée for a couple of hours."   Cytherea stood up and hugged Ares. He returned her embrace and kissed her temple. He leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "I had a bad feeling about it, but don't worry, I will always keep an eye on you."   Cytherea nodded. She had a bad feeling too and her heart started to beat faster.    "I'm sorry, Babe. I should have paid much attention when you tell me about the meaning of the flowers. Most especially when you started getting Astilbe flowers."   "It's okay, Babe. I understand. The question was unexpected too. I thought it would be all about you." She sighed. "I'll see you later?"   "Of course. I love you." Ares hugged her tightly again and kissed her temple.   "Aww… that's so sweet. This is really unexpected. You're a good guy, Ares. Thanks for being a sport."   Ares also went beside the emcee and hugged her before he left the stage.   He went back to their table, so pissed off. He was blaming himself for not being attentive to Cytherea's interests.    He lazily sat down beside Athena, who was just smirking at him while sipping her drink.   He noticed it and immediately reprimanded Athena. "Not now, please. I'm so pissed off."   "I know, and you don't have anyone to blame but yourself. If you were only more attentive to Cytherea's interest, you both should be the winner." Athena faced him and put her drink on the table. She leaned closer to the table and put her elbow on it to support her chin. "Imagine if Gaus wins the game. Hahaha, that would be really awesome. He can get to spend the evening with Cytherea. To tell you honestly? I felt like he really likes Cytherea, which will be the best time to be with her. And speaking of, it seemed like Cytherea is fond of him too. Didn't you see the look in her eyes when she's looking at Gaus?"   "Stop it, Athena!" he hissed.   He was very pissed that Athena is adding fuel to his anger. He wanted to snap her neck. He knew that Athena was teasing him. She looked like a devil to him, feeding him information to anger him. Before he could lose his mind, he decided to leave the table.    He totally forgot his promise to Cytherea that he will keep an eye on her. He stormed out from the ballroom to get fresh air, but before he could actually leave, a pair of hands covered his mouth and dragged him out to the dark part of the room.
