Once Nithe and Dana had left, I decided I needed to let Irad out. He had quietened down a little but was still pacing around in my head. I jumped in the car and drove to the spot that Dana had shown me on the map.
It took about twenty minutes to drive out there and it was mostly on small narrow dirt tracks. When I finally reached what appeared to be an open space in the middle of a thickly treed area, I pulled up my car and climbed out.
I scented the area and could sense a couple of very low-level dragons, nothing to be concerned about. I left my phone and wallet in my car and hooked my keys around my neck on a long stretchy cord that expanded to fit around Irad's neck.
