KAIDA POV
After eating the delicious Chinese Jan made for me, we sat around and chatted for a while. We discussed what Doc told me about me being a perfect hybrid. Jan thought it was awesome, me not so much.
She eventually left me taking the dishes with her and promised she would be back in the morning to take me back home.
When I checked my phone, I had several calls from Daniel but I just wasn’t feeling up to talking to him yet.
As I was holding my phone, it rang again. This time it was the Fines', so I thought I should answer them and let them know I would be back tomorrow, but I might be late for work, as I was not sure what time Jan would be picking me up.
