I had the best night's sleep I have had in weeks. When I got back from Kaida’s apartment, I just ditched my jeans and fell into bed in the rest of my clothes as they had her scent all over them.
Irad was almost purring. I didn’t even think dragons could purr. The only thing stopping me from having to deal with being incredibly turned on was the memory of why her scent was all over me, her sobbing in my lap until she fell asleep.
I had no dreams or nightmares last night, which was highly unusual. I reluctantly got up, took a shower and changed into clean clothes. I kept the shirt I had been wearing and placed it on my pillow. I know lame but her scent was just so damn calming.
