BY the end of the seminar, my parents were tired and just wanted to stay in the hotel. Roel and I went out to dinner by ourselves.
I brought Roel to the overlooking restaurant that Julian brought me to the first we went out by ourselves.
Roel was in awe of the view and kept looking around. We were seated right away and ordered our food.
Roel: "This place is great for a date, you know?"
Vanessa: "I know. Julian brought me here the first time we went out. We weren't together at the time yet."
Roel: "Really."
Vanessa: "It's too bad we came here when it's still early so it's not as romantic."
Roel: "You really miss him, don't you?"
Vanessa: "I do. Especially when I'm alone. That's why I'm so happy when my parents came to visit me."
