"Conrad stop" I whisper and he just stares at me. I can see he feels really sad and bad. I can see it in his eyes.
"I don't know what else I have to do to show you" he whispers again.
"You don't have to, okay?" I almost scream and he stops talking.
"You don't have to show me any of that. Because I already know. And you should know better, Conrad. That this doesn't make me fall in love with you. What do you think, huh?" I ask him and I stand up from the chair.
He is staring at me with confusion written across his face. But I have no other option. I am a mess. A mess that only the Sundowners know inside out. Even they don't know. I killed their Beta after all.
