I couldn’t have stopped her even if I tried. Talia pushed through the crowd determinedly and the crowd didn’t protest seeing that it was her and knowing that she took down a guy bigger than her a couple of weeks ago they didn’t utter a word about her pushing through. All I could do was follow her. I gasped in shock. Not because of the low growl coming from Talia but from the two girls that ganged up on their friend, or in their case, their own pack member. I immediately recognized her as Lauren. She was the reason for the fight between Jake and what’s him name… Danny. Her boyfriend and her mate. Lauren was crying and I felt strangely drawn in to help her.
