ELAINA POV. I’ve been running for what felt like hours and I was starting to slow down from exhaustion. The few times that I stopped to catch my breath was barely enough to help me keep going. I shifted a while ago when I felt that I had enough distance between me and the other wolves, but they kept coming. I had a close call when one of them jumped at me from the bushes but with my years of training with Jack, I managed to get away that time.
