ELAINA POV. I stepped out of my front door, an overnight bag in my hands. I hung around for about an hour before I decided that they would definitely be watching me and that I would have their attention when I left. I needed to get out of the little town and lure the watch dogs of my father’s pack away from here and off Talia and the others trail. At least give them enough time to get away unnoticed so that we could meet up later. That is what I hoped to accomplish at least, but I knew the chances of me getting away as a diversion for the others to get out were slim, but it had to be done. The only thing that mattered was that Talia and the others got away to start over again. Jack would keep them safe. I sigh tiredly. It was a mistake to come back this close to my father’s pack, but it
