“Are we there yet?” Lauren moaned from the back as the car bumped along the dirt road that we were driving. I rolled my eyes for what felt like the tenth time in the last couple of hours. Apparently, pregnant she-wolves are quite restless. Jack snickered from behind the steering wheel which earned him a glare from Jane in the rearview mirror. “Almost.” I reply as I study the GPS, watching the little dot that is supposed to be us slowly following a blue line that was finally getting shorter. We have been on the road for more than four hours now. The state of the dirt road was slowing us down drastically. It had more holes than road and there were times when Jack had to make his own way around an obstacle.
