Bonnie’s driver pulls up in front of Julia’s house; there is a black car idling outside, a man wearing a sharp gray suit standing at the door. Bonnie pays her driver and gets out of the car. As the door slams behind her, the man at the door turns around. Bonnie can’t help but smile when she sees him roll his eyes at her. With confident strides, Bonnie ascends the walk and the steps up to the door. When she reaches the top step, she says, “Good afternoon Dan.” “I guess I should have known you were going to be there,” Dan Dambers replies. “Shouldn’t I be?
