Wailea, Maui Early The Next Day As Ed sat behind his desk at his firm’s office on the second floor of the Wailea Business Center, he was preoccupied with reviewing a police report prepared after the fires at the Regal Wisteria Wailea resort. The report was pages upon pages of witness interviews of individuals who were present when either the first townhome exploded or when the second townhome caught on fire and soon thereafter exploded. After scrutinizing most of the report, Ed realized none of the witnesses saw anything helpful besides the explosions and had no idea why the townhome exploded.
