Taylor

" Taylor!" I jump up seeing Grace standing next to the bed.

" What," I shake my head from the dream. " Get up Luna Crystal will be here in a couple of hours."

" Don't remind me," I lay back down in bed.

" What kind of dream were you having with all that moaning?"

" Shut up," I throw a pillow at her.

" You need to get that under control. Werewolf can smell a female arouse."

" Grace leave," she laughs walking out of the room. I close my eyes for a few seconds before getting out of the bed. I go straight to the shower. I drag the rag up my arm to my my neck. I wince at the tender stop in my neck. I touch the spot again with my finger feeling the tender spot. I finish washing up then get out of the shower. I go to the sink whipping the fog off the mirror. I see a hickey the same place that Kaine kissed my neck.

How is that possible? It was just a dream. I stare at the mark for a few seconds, " Taylor Luna Crystal called. She'll be here in an hour."

" Okay." f**k how am I going to hide this? I open the medicine cabinet seeing no makeup.

Fuck, I'll ask Grace. I brush my teeth then wash my face. I walk to the bedroom to see clothes laid out on the bed. A long sleeve back shirt and a pair of blue jeans with flats. I put the clothes on and slide my feet in the shoes. I stand in front of the mirror.

The clothes fit alright. I brush the kinks out of my hair.

Im need more than a brush. I walk upstairs going to Grace's room on the second floor.

I knock on the door " yes."

" I need help with my hair," the door opens. " You look so cute,"I roll my eyes stepping in her room.

"Sit in front of the dresser." I sit at the vanity look at my hair.

" All this hair girl. Let me work my magic." Grace takes a couple different hair products putting them in my hair. She combs it all through then plait my hair into small sections.

" You done?"

" No girl, when you undo the braids your hair will look beautiful."

" If you say so," I stand up and turn around ready to walk out of her bedroom. " What's that on your neck," she points at me.

" Nothing," I tried to walk past her.

" Taylor, what's that on your neck," Grace put her hands on her hips.

"I don't know. I found it this morning." I pushed past her out the room.

"You better not be sneaking boys in here." " Shut up Grace," I walk downstairs to the kitchen. I grab a plate out the dishrack grabbing some bacon and eggs. I carry my plate to the dining room table. A few minutes later the girls and Grace come down. Niome takes a seat at the table then Nayyirah.

" What boy snuck in last night," Niome look at me

" Don't listen to old ass Grace," the girls laugh.

" Make sure you put old and fabulous next time," Grace takes a seat at the table.

" What are you dressed up for," Nayyirah looks at me.

" I'm helping Luna Crystal today."

" To do what?"

" Helping around the pack."

" You're doing community service," Nayyirah laughs. I throw my fork at her face.

" You lucky that you didn't stab me."

" What were you going to do? Run and go tell the alpha." I get up from the table going in the kitchen placing my plate in the sink. Someone knocks on the door, f**k.

" Niome go open the door," Grace walks in the kitchen.

" Let me get you together." Grace untwist my hair " good morning Luna Crystal."

" Morning Niome, where is Tayor?" Grace styles my hair then drags me to the door.

" Morning Luna."

" Morning Grace and Taylor."

" Good morning."

" You hair looks good today."

" Thank you Luna Crystal," I follow her out of the house.

" Make sure you behave today," Grace shouts from the door. I flip her off while Luna Crystal chuckles.

" Taylor we have a few things to do today. First is a meeting that I have once a week with the female pack members."

" Okay," I follow her to the building that the alphas office is in. We walk in to people greeting her and sending me hateful stares.

" My office is this way," Crystal leads me to one of the back offices on the first floor. The is smaller than the alpha but was more color with yellow, white and pink. Couple paints hang on the wall of the pack.

" Take a seat," Crystal walks around her desk. I sit looking at the various pictures of the pack and of her family. A knock on the door breaks me from staring at the picture " come in."

" Luna here's the-," a female stops speaking when she sees me.

" Dot this is Taylor. She will be helping us today."

Dot smiles then walks over to the Crystal. " There's are the notes from the last meeting."

" Thanks Dot," Crystal looks at the notes.

" Also the Fall Moon pack is having a service for his sister."Crystal takes a deep breath " send some flowers and I'm going to need a card to fill out."

" Yes Luna," Dot leaves the office.

" The meeting that we're having today, is about the changes that can be made with our community and any events that we would host in the next coming months. As well as any concerns that they," I nod my head.

" Let me grab some papers," Crystal opens a couple drawers then stands up. I follow her out of the office farther down the hall. We walk into a larger meeting room with a huge oval table in the center.

" Come sit at the top with me." I pull a chair out next to Crystal while she goes over the notes. I tap my foot waiting for people.

This is going to be so boring. After five minutes, women start coming into the room. They stop mid walk and mean mug me before greeting Crystal. After another five minutes the room was packed with females burning a whole on my forehead. " It seems that everyone is here. So let me get started, does anyone have any questions from the last meeting?" Crystal looks around the room.

" Well let's move on. Anyone has anything they would like to discuss?" Damn near everyone raised their hand.

" Let's go one at a time. How about we start with Emily."

Emily stands up " why is she here. After hurting Derek?"

" She's here to better to learn about the pack and the workings of it."

" She's an outsider. She should get the get her ass beat then get kicked out of our territory," the rest of the females agree.

" Calm down ladies," Crystal stands up. The ladies calm down looking at Crystal, " I know the bond that we have with each other is strong but that doesn't mean to exile her." The room goes quiet " any other problems that need to be cleared?"

" Are we going to war," Evelyn says.

"We are going to war. We are taking a certain amount of pack members for a mission in a couple of months."

" What is this mission?"

" I cant speak of ot right now."

" You're protecting the McKinnon killer," Evenly points at Crystal.

I stand up, " she's not protecting me but the daughters of the McKinnon. We need your help, that's why I'm here," the room falls silent.Crystal clear her throat, " this meeting is over. If you have any questions leave them with Dot." Crystal picks her paper up and walks out the office. The females whisper to each other," I know that you may not like me but I'm here for them girls. I will die to make sure that they take the throne. The fight that me and Derek had was to see who is fit to train the group. I'm sorry that I went a little too far but I know the other side. I need to train this group to make it back home to you." I look around the room seeing all eyes on me, " ladies I hope I changed your opinion on me. If you have any questions about me or for me. I'm staying with Grace come by anytime." I walk away from the table leaving the room.
