After an hour of Tommy complaining about being hungry the forensics team shows up. We lead them to the bodies. We didn't leave until the team packed the bodies up and leave.

" Thank the mood goddess. I can finally get something to eat." I roll my eyes putting the car in gear. We stop at the first fast food place grabbing food. Tommy devoured the bag and all.

" Damn you act like you've been starving for months," I pull into the station's parking lot.

" I was," we got out of the car going into the station. We go straight to the captain's office.

" What did you find out?" I hand him the file " this is some good information. Why was a forensic team called up there?" Tommy closed the door before I spoke.

" Alpha Tim's sister and her human mate where found dead in Walt's house."

" You think he did this?"

" No, this was strategically planned. There were dead animals littered by the house to mass the smell of the bodies. Walt wouldn't do that but a pack member let us in on a little information. The alpha and his sister gets in arguments and she's leaves for a few days but this time she never came back." Captain nods his head leaning back in his chair," I'll keep an eye on Alpha Tim. Don't get involved with this. I don't need two packs going to war at this time."

" Okay cap. See in the morning." We leave his office going to my car.

" You think that Alpha Tim killed his sister?"

" It could be a possibility."

The drive to the pack was quiet.

" See you in the morning," Tommy gets out of the car.

" See you." I pull off going to my parents home. After a couple of minutes I pull in the driveway. I go to the front door and knock. The door swings open " if your coming to com-," mom stops speaking.

" Thank god it's you. The pack has been knocking at this door for the last two hours."

" What happened," I step in closing the door. " Taylor is what happened." We walked into the kitchen " what did she do this time?" I grab a plate out of the cabinet walking to the stove.

" What didn't she do? She damn near killed Derek then almost fought Eve and her friends. The whole pack wants her head."

I fill my plate with spaghetti then walk over to the table.

" She knows how to make an impression." Mom just laughs," if she makes a second impression her head is going to be on a stake."

" She's not a vampire," I point my fork at her. Mom gets up from the table " where's dad?"

" At the hospital talking to Derek and probably reassuring the pack that she's not a threat." I finish eating my food when dad walks in plopping down at the table.

" Eventful day."

" You don't even want to know."

" Here baby," mom walks over with a glass.

"Thanks babe."

" What did Derek say?"

" He challenged her to a fight and she kicked his ass," dad finished his drink.

" With her powers," mom put a plate in front of him.

" He said that none of her marks light up. So with her natural strength." Mom takes a seat look at him.

" Good thing that I stopped her and Eve." I get up from the table.

" I'll stop pass Grace's before I head home." I put my plate in the dishwasher.

" Good night." I walk over to mom kissing her forehead then hugging dad. I walk out of the house driving to Grace's. I get out of the car walking on the porch and knocking on the door. A few minutes later the door open, " hey Grace, I heard about earlier."

" Hey Kaine come in Taylor is in the living room." I walk to the living room seeing Taylor on the couch while the girls stand in the middle of the floor talking.

" How did you beat him," Nayyirah takes a seat next to Taylor. Taylor just laughs " tell me." I clear my throat stepping in the room. Everyone turns their head to me " hey ladies."

" Hey," they say back. I take a seat in the chair across from Taylor. I look at her seeing minor wounds on her hands.

" Girls go upstairs," Grace takes a seat next to Taylor. The room was quiet for a few minutes, " the pack is in an uproar from the fight."

" We know that," Grace stares at Taylor.

" Taylor can you relax it with the fighting. How about you go with my mom and meet the pack." Taylor scrunch up her face " how about this. If I meet the pack with your mom and be on my best behavior. Can you take me to meet the a friend."

" Who's this friend?"

" A friend that has a book I need and information." I think about it for a few seconds " we can go after I get off work." A small smile appears on her face. My heart beats faster " I'll tell my mom to get you in the morning. See you ladies. I get out of the chair heading to the door.

" Walk him out." Traylor smacks her lips before getting up. She follows me to the door " night."

" Night, thank you," she avoids looking me in the eyes.

" You're welcome," I bush passed her going out the door.

I feel the tingles but her smell doesn't scream mate. What's going on? I shake my head getting in my car going to my house. I pull up to the curb getting out. I unlock the door throwing my keys on the table. I go to my room calling mom.

" Did you forget something?"

" No mom but I need a favor from you." I walk in my room taking my shoes off.

" What is it?"

" When you do your rounds for the pack. Can you take Taylor with you?"

" Why would I do that? The pack is ready to kill her."

" I know mom but can you do it for me."

" Why is this so important that she meets the pack?"

" I don't want no hostility when it's time to fight."

" If you say so. I'll pick her up in the morning. Kaine if she starts another fight she will be kicked out of our territory."

" I understand mom."

" Mmhmm, good night baby."

" Goodnight mom," I put my phone on the dresser. I strip out of my clothes and get in bed.

I turn the tv on the sports center watching highlights of the basketball game before my eyes get heavy. I walk the trails at night spotting Taylor sitting by the pound. I walk over to her calling her name. She never moves so I crouch down beside her placing my hand on her shoulder. Taylor grabs my wrist flipping me to the ground. She straddles my waist, she takes her right hand gripping my throat. We stare at each other for a few minutes before I become hard. Her eyes get big as she's about to move off me. I grab her waist pulling her back down on my lap. Taylor struggles to get out of my hold. I flip her over so that straddling her. I put both her hands over her head. I bite my lip looking at her for a few seconds.

I kiss her forehead, cheek then run my tongue across her collar bone. I look up to see Taylor's eyes are close and she's biting her bottom lip. I smile before putting my head in the crook of her neck. I take my tongue licking her neck. She shivers when I get to her sweet spot. I smile as I suck the spot. I let her wrist go moving my hand around her body. I sit up licking my lips staring at Taylor. I bend down placing my lips on hers. I jump out of my sleep as my alarm goes off " fuck." I grab my phone turning the alarm off. I toss the covers seeing morning wood. I need to figure this out. I get out of bed going to the bathroom.
