Immortal : Immortal mates

Chapter 4

                          3 years later

After six months of training, the girls are able to control their power and has  some combat training. We went to the mortal world hiding from all supernaturals. Over the last year the hunt for us has become more intense. More and more supernaturals have been flooding the mortal streets. The closer it gets to Niome's sixteenth birthday  the more desperate they seem to keep her from the throne.

 I stand outside of Feed the Children  foundation wearing a long sleeve black dress, black heels and clutch. I watch across the street as people take pictures before walking into the museum. A black limo pulls up in front of the museum. A short man gets out wearing a tuxedo. I look at the picture in my hand. 

Bingo. Mr. William. 

I throw the picture in the trash then walk across the street. I walk across the street to the carpet. I follow behind a couple keeping my face away from the cameras. I walk into the museum pulling out my invitation handing it to security. 

" Have a good night ma'am."

 " Thank you."

 I walk in the art exhibit seeing people everywhere. I pick up a glass of champagne from a waiter walking pass. I look around the room spotting William speaking to a couple across the room. I walk my way over there looking at him then stopping in front of a painting near them. After a few minutes  of staring at the painting, I look over my shoulder to see catch eyes with William. I look away from him and stare back at the painting.

" Excuse, miss." I turn around to William standing next to me.

" Yes." 

" I couldn't help but introduce myself. I'm Brian William." 

" Nice meeting you. I'm Natalie."

 " Nice meeting you too Natalie. How is your night going so far."

 " To be honest, boring."

 " Why is that?" 

" My friend was supposed  to come with me but she ditched me at the last minute. Now I'm here by myself with no one to talk to." I sigh looking down. 

" That's okay. I'll keep you company."

 " Thank you."

 " Let me introduce  you to some people." William took me around the room meeting different people for the next hour. 

" It's getting a little hot in here. I need some air."

 " Let's go stand in the garden for a while." 

I nod my head following him out of the exhibit  towards the back of the museum. 

" This is a beautiful garden." I walk in the middle of the garden bending over smelling the flowers with my clutch behind me.

" Good to hear. My company payed to put this garden in the museum." 

" Really?" I turn my head to him smiling. I go in my clutch grabbing my knife. 

" Yes." He walks closer to me.  I stand up slowly  slipping the knife in the sleeve of my dress. 

" That is so nice." William smiles at me grabbing my arm pulling me towards him.

 " Natalie, you're a beautiful woman." He runs his hands over my waist going down. I chuckle placing my arms around his neck. 

" Such a beautiful  woman. You know what I can do for a woman like you."

 " What can you do?" I pull the knife out pressing it to his neck.

" I-I."

 I stab him on the right side  of his neck.

 " You can't do nothing for me. You fat fuck."

 I pull the knife out putting in my clutch. I step over William's body walking back into the building. I look down the hall not hearing nothing. I quickly  walk out of the museum and down the street. I go into an empty building going to the back room.

 I grab my duffel bag from behind a broken dresser. I snatch the wig off my head throwing it on the floor I change into a hoodie and blue jeans. I grab some makeup wipes cleaning my face. I stop mid wiping when I hear movement in the building. I grab a lighter throwing it on the clothes and wig. I grab my  kyoketsu-shoge from the duffel bag placing it  in the back of my pants. I walk out of the room going down the hall to the next room. I look out of the window to see the police.

I spot Kaine Strothers and his partner Tommy.

Fuck.

 " Taylor, I know you are in here."   I walk of the room holding the kyoketsu-shoge  in my hand.

 " There you are." I dark figure stands in the middle of the hall. The figure walks closer revealing an average size man with a brown leather coat on.

" This is going to be fun." Grey light appears  on his wrist. 

What element does he have? 

The ground shakes making the wall around us fall. 

Fuck. I need to move closer to him. 

I run towards him when a huge rock hits me pushing me throw the wall.I get off the floor looking around. 

"Tell me where the girls are and I'll let you go." He walks through the hole in the wall with a rock floating behind him.

I run straight towards him. The rock is thrown full speed at me but I run to the left  just dougeing  the rock by an inch.

 " You're fast. This is going to be fun capturing you." I  run towards him throwing the kyoketsu-shogein at his arm. 

" Fuck." He holds his forearm.  I pull the  chain of the kyoketsu-shoge catching it in my hand. 

The ground shakes under me making me fall through the floor. I look up to see the rock being thrown down on me. I roll out of the away. 

This is getting on my nerves.

 The rock comes back up from the hole. I put my back on the wall and slide to the door.

 " Tay Tay this is your last chance to give the girls up and I'll let you go." I keep walking to the door staying quiet.

 " I guess I can't be nice to you." The floor collapsed right behind me. 

" There you are." 

I run out of the room to the front of the building

 " Hey. You can't be in here." I turn around to see Kaine Strothers  standing in the doorway with his gun pointing at me. 

" Put your hands up Taylor." 

" I don't have time for this."

 " Put your hands up!" The building shakes  again making me fall into Kane knocking his gun out of his hand. Kaine grabs both my arms. My attacker walks into the room.

 " Do we have one of your friends here?" Kaine   push me behind him and starts growling.

 " Werewolf." 

A rock  flings across the room knocking Kane into the wall. I throw the kyoketsu-shoge hitting  his eye. 

" You f*****g bitch." I grip the chain pulling  his eye out. He let out a scream.

 I swing the kyoketsu-shoge above my head for a few seconds before launching it in his neck. I pull it to the chain to the  right slitting his throat. A thump behind me makes me jump. Kain stands up growling. He looks at me then the floor. Kaine grabs his walkie talkie.

" I need a SN bus at the abandoned apartment building near the art museum." I walk slowly farther into the building.

 " Don't move Taylor. You're under arrest." 

I run to the back of the building. The farther back I go harder the building shakes. I fall landing on glass.

 f**k.  

I pull a piece  of glass out of my leg. I stand up limping to the back door when I get pulled to a hard surface. 

" You ain't getting away this time." I look behind  me to see Kaine standing behind me. The building shakes again. I look up to see the ceiling falling. I push all my weight i to knock Kaine over.

 " f**k we need to get out of here." Kaine puts my arm over his shoulder leading us out of the building. Sirens and lights flash at the mouth of the alley. I pull my arm from around his neck.He grabs my hand pulling  me to his chest. 

" Where do you think you're going?" He whispers in my ear. I headbutt him pulling  out of his hold. 

" Fuck."

 I run down the alley at full speed. Gunshots go off behind. 

" Fuck."

 I get shot on my side. I hold my side while still running. I go to the rundown motel six that we are staying in. I bang on the door. I look around the parking lot before knocking on the door.  The door opens slowly with a gun pointing at me.
