Gordon’s (muttogue) P.O.V
I was inside the underground club and all I was seeing was smoke and a lot of women that were looking to get laid tonight. I was a little bored and was thinking about leaving, but then I smelled this scent and she walked inside. It was the same female that I had been watching come out of the store Gators and damn, she looked sexy as hell, dressed in a mini skirt and those knee high boots, plus that shirt that showed just the right amount of cleavage. Her hair was in a messy bun and I thought about how I could be pulling on it in no time at all, but it makes me wonder why she is here tonight? Didn’t this human have a mate? I thought to myself as I started looking around, but I didn’t see him anywhere, so it couldn’t be a set up. I started to walk towards her as she walked to the bar to order a drink and I’m surprised that the bartender could hear her because of how loud the music was. I watched as his eyes travelled up and down her body and he was another wolf, but no way, soldier boy, this one is my kill tonight, I thought as I walked up to the bar.
“I’ll have whatever she’s having and I’ll buy her a drink as well.” I said and he nodded to her, which made me curious as to why he did that, but I just shrugged it off.
“Well thanks for buying my drink, so what’s your name?” She asked, smiling at me.
“The name is Gordon, what’s yours?” I asked, introducing myself.
“Mine is May, it’s nice to meet you, have you been here long?” The girl I now knew as May asked and I shook my head.
“No, only about an hour or so, that’s all.” I replied and she nodded. She sipped on her drink and looked at me, but then she looked past me towards someone else and then I smelled it. Wolves had entered the club.

The bartender nodded at me as Gordon ordered his drink and paid for mine, letting me know that he was a mutt and I smiled sweetly at him, trying not to have my cover blown. We engaged in small talk, introducing ourselves and then I saw Rune, Walter and Erick walk into the club. I pretended like I hadn’t seen them and didn’t know them, so I wouldn’t get caught, but then I watched as the mutt sniffed the air. He gently took my arm and led me to the side wall, but then he pushed me against it and pressed himself against me.
“You little girl, are trying to set me up, aren’t you? I saw you leaving your job and I should have taken you then, but I’ll just take you now instead, bitch.” The mutt Gordon said and although he was threatening me I didn’t feel scared. It wasn’t in my nature to be scared, especially with someone as pathetic as this dog. I carefully and gently placed my hands on his chest, then pushed him away with all my might. He stumbled back a bit and I took the opportunity to kick him as hard as I could in the balls.
“Motherfucker, you don’t scare me, you piece of s**t. Why are you killing humans? What did we ever do to you?” I asked, but he just started laughing as he began to shift right in front of me. I saw the guys walking towards us out of the corner of my eye, but then I remembered what I had learned about werewolves, that silver and wolfsbane can kill them, but in small amounts it can weaken them. I had started carrying a silver dagger dipped in wolfsbane when I first heard about the killings and I had it with me tonight. I took it out from the holster under my shirt and as he carried on shifting I pushed him towards the wall, shocking him so much that he stopped shifting.
“Die motherfucker.” I whispered, leaning in closer to him. I stabbed him in the heart, chest and stomach several times as he screamed out in pain, but thankfully the loud music covered his screams. I saw a door to my left and quickly grabbed the handle before pushing him into it and shutting the door behind me. I landed on top of him and stabbed him several more times, making sure that he was dead. I watched as the silver ate away at his skin and the wolfsbane started to make its way through his bloodstream, killing him.

I saw May standing at the bar and the next thing I knew they were gone. I looked around and saw that he had her against the wall, but then she kicked him and he started to shift. I rushed towards them, but then May slammed him against the wall and pulled a dagger out from under her shirt. Where the hell did she get that from? How did she hide it there? I thought as I weaved through the crowd towards them, but then they were gone again and I heard the sound of a door shutting. I looked towards where I had seen them last and saw the door, so I ran and opened it. I watched as May got up off the mutt and cleaned the knife on the shirt she was wearing, getting all the blood off it, but when I looked at May I was shocked. The knife was now clean, but Mat was covered in his blood, it was even dripping between her breasts.
“I told you I could handle myself, but you really didn’t trust me, did you?” May said and my mouth fell open. I walked towards her and picked her up, swinging her around as I kissed her.
“You did amazing, but never do that again.” I said and she started laughing.
“I can’t promise you that, love.” She replied and I smirked. I looked at the body and the mess of blood that was not only splattered on May, but also over the walls and door as well as the growing pool of blood under and around the mutt's body.
“Come on, we have to figure out a way to get this body out of here so we can burn it and also clean up this place as well as getting you out of here without being seen covered in blood.” I said, just as Walter and my dad walked into the room, shutting the door behind them. They looked around at the mess and then at May and I, but neither of them said anything as they carried on looking around the room.
“We need to find a way out of here without being seen.” Walter said, but then my dad smiled.
“There, the huge window.” My dad said, but there was no window in here and then he walked over to a huge red curtain and pulled it back, revealing the window.
“I could feel a slight breeze from where I was standing.” My dad said, looking at our confused faces. My dad looked out of it and made sure that no one else was outside before his eyes glazed over and I knew that he was mind-linking the warriors from our pack that had come with us tonight to meet us there. We waited for them to arrive, while Walter and I rolled up the mutt in the carpet that he had died on and May started wiping the blood off the walls and door. A few minutes later dad nodded to us and opened the window. We heaved the body up and out of the window, passing it to the warriors waiting outside and then took another look around the room to make sure that we hadn’t missed anything. The room looked like nothing had happened in here, let alone a murder, so with one last glance we headed out the window. I asked the guards to take the body into the woods, which was just past the alley, even though I wanted to just burn him with a load of trash, but we couldn’t do that and just as they turned to leave something fell from the rolled up carpet. I picked it up and saw that it was a hotel key from one of the rundown hotels that amazingly was still up and running.
“After we get rid of him we need to go to his room and see what else he has been up to.” May said and we all nodded. I grabbed a trash can, not wanting to mar the earth with his burned remains and we all walked into the woods, while keeping an eye open for anyone around us. I took the lid off the trash can and the warriors dumped his body in it, still wrapped in the carpet, which would help him burn faster. I lit a match and threw it in, setting the mutt and carpet on fire. After all, who would care about him being dead after everything he has done, but we still needed to be careful so that humans didn’t see us and what we were doing, not that they would care about trash being burned and that's what he was, trash. We stood there for a while, watching as his body and the carpet burned and then after he was nothing more than ashes we left, returning the bin to where I had grabbed it from.

They left him there. They sons of bitches killed him and burned him like they were taking out the f*****g trash. How dare they treat my brother that way. I turned and walked away, following them as they went towards the rundown hotel we had been staying in. Why did they have to go and kill him when he hadn’t caused them any harm? Now I’m going to need to get payback and avenge my brother's death, I thought to myself as I watched them from afar.
May’s P.O.V
We had arrived at this horrible looking hotel and found the room that the mutt had been staying in. We unlocked the door and went inside, closing it behind us and started looking around. We searched through the drawers and I was feeling under the gross looking mattress, holding my breath from the smell and then I felt something weird. I pulled it out and saw that it was a book, so I opened it to see what it said. My eyes went wide as I started reading the words written down. This wasn’t just a book, it was a journal and it was about all the murders he had committed, but they weren’t just here like we thought. He had been killing humans all over the state and taking things that he called treasures from them. He had been keeping trophies of his kills, I thought to myself as I started to look more closely at the room. I looked at the other bed that was in the room and saw a small case that was tucked underneath it, so I opened it up and saw that there was a load of women’s clothes in there.
“Guys, I don’t think this is the only mutt, I think there is a female here as well.” I said, holding up the clothes. They all looked at me and then sighed.
“So this isn’t over yet.” Walter said, shaking his head.
“We are going to need to contact the human police and let them know.” Rune replied and we all nodded. I felt a shiver go down my spine, just like the one I’d had when I was at work earlier, so I walked towards the door and popped my head out, looking around. I saw a shadowy figure running away from the room, immediately putting me on alert.
“GUYS, QUICK!!!” I yelled, turning back into the room, but in the second it took me to do that and turn back to where I saw the figure, it was gone.
“s**t, I think that was her, she was just inches away from us.” I said, sighing in defeat. We were so close, so close to this being over, but now, whoever the female mutt was, she had another night of freedom.
