CHAPTER 16“ONE PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS”
Craig and Darius spread the pictures out on Larry’s desk. The photographs were in black and white and enlarged to 8 x 11 inches. They clearly showed a Russian agent conversing with their Americo-Liberian contact, Honorable Wilson. The other pictures showed the same agent in a different location conversing with Mr. Chao. They gave Larry time to examine the photos. Then Craig produced a small cassette tape recorder.
“This is a recording of most of the conversations. The Russian agrees to supply a limited number of automatic rifles and other small arms if Liberia agrees to stay out of African conflicts involving Russian interests.”
