Larry accompanied Craig and Darius down the corridor that led to Mr. Ellis’s office. Their report was sitting on the desk directly in front of Mr. Ellis. Larry in-troduced the two men as Agent Craig Miller and Agent Darius Walker, and stood erect as the senior officer nodded in recognition. Mr. Ellis continued perusing the last page of their report and finished by gently putting the pages back into the brown envelope. He quickly tied the retaining cords into a careful and precise bow.
“This is pretty damning evidence,” he said, glaring at both of them. “How confident are you about the validity of this source?”
“Very confident,” Darius said. “On a percentage basis, I’d say 90 percent.”
