I parked my bike on the side of the street and walked up the sidewalk towards Damian’s house. Some of his men were standing outside drinking and talking.
“What’s up.” I greeted, walking past them and into the house.
“Damian!” I walked into the living room and plopped on the couch
Baby jade was in her playpen, crawling and playing around.
“Hi baby jade.” I cood, watching how cute she was
Keisha came into the living room, handing me a plate of breakfast. It was scrambled eggs, grits, bacon and French toast.
“How did you know I didn’t eat breakfast?”
“Your ass is here at the crack of dawn. Of course you ain’t eat breakfast.” She said back, making me laugh.
“Thanks Keisha.”
“Of course baby.” She walked back into the kitchen, disappearing.
