My eyes opened to bright sunlight coming in through the balcony. I hoped that everything that happened hours ago was just a nightmare, but I knew it wasn’t. A girl could only hope I guess. I rolled over in bed, looking at the clock on the wall. It was after 7am. No wonder why I was still so tired. I didn’t get much sleep. I climbed out of bed and pried the covers off of me. I needed to get changed and leave this awful hotel. Especially before I do something I may regret, like killing Nìkolai Gambino. I got dressed quickly, putting on some jeans and an oversized t-shirt.
