After Immediately, the polizia Municipale were contacted and a thorough investigations begins. According to the guards, they did saw the time Mister Smith had entered the house, because they exchanged pleasantries and kept up updates. But the only thing was they had no idea when he had left, making them think he was going to sleep over since it won’t be the first time that he sleeps over. Janice couldn’t even think straight, she wasn’t understanding what was happening as she had fainted almost twice, just so she could wake up from her dreams. “Mia.” Her mother called out softly. “Don’t worry yourself about this. If Smith isn’t found today or tomorrow, he will surely be found one day.” Her mother comforted, pulling her in for a hug. Janice wiped away her tears before she vowed to find Mister Smith, wherever he is and she will do it alone. “Mother, can you ask the polizia to stop the investigations?” She asked. It took her mother a while before she had answered. “Sure, I will talk to your father about it now and then get back to you.” With that, her mother left the room. Janice decided to use that as an opportunity to take a quick bath, then wore a simple dress before coming back to the room. She sat on the couch, looking at her reflection in the mirror and wondering why Mister Smith had to do something like that. If he had wanted money to sort of his life then he should have politely asked her and she will help him. She is the type of person that doesn’t mind helping others. As long as they are going to be good. “Well, he just gave me more reason to dig into his life.” She mumbled against her lips before grabbing a bag from the stand and making sure that everything that she will need is intact. She gave her reflection a last look on the mirror before heading to her parents. She gave the door a knock, silently waiting for that call and when she got it, she walked in meeting her father getting dressed for work and her mother on the bed. “Mia, what are you doing here all dressed like this?” Her mother asked sitting upright. She walked to where her mother was, sitting by her side and taking her hands. “Just felt like going out, get some fresh air.” She answered. “But Janice, it is too early.” Her mother argued. She opened her mouth to answer her when she was cut off by her father. “Let the girl go. As her father, I also don’t want her to be indoor all the time.” Father said on her behalf. “I don’t like it because it feels like we are keeping her indoor much.” He added then turned his attention to Janice. She cleared her throat, waiting for what he will be saying to her, not sure if it will be good or bad. “Janice, your mother here told me that you want the polizia to stop the investigation right?” He asked. “Yes Father.” She answered. “Then I will stop there on my way out and ask them to stop. Also, do not forget my warnings, don’t get into trouble, stay out of those that want nothing to do with you but trouble.”He warned. She nodded her head at him then waved them a goodbye slipped out of the room. She could hear the faint voices of her mother, questioning her father for letting her go at a situation like that. She could only chuckle, seeing how hard her mother is trying to protect her. One time, her mother will be okay, everything will be moving alright but other days ends like it was this morning. Already the driver was waiting for her, so she only entered the car and ordered him to zoom off. She brought out her phone, dialing the number and asking the person on the other end to meet her at the location she will be sending. And the moment the call ended, she thought of a park with less people then texted the address of the park to the person she spoke to and then, asked the driver to go there. She watched around the traffic, as how others struggled to put out their business tends while others looked for a transport to either school, or their workplaces: She could only thank her stars for making her parents rich and a reason why she is living a healthy life. Soon they reached the park, she waited until the person she was to meet called her and told her that he was there. She asked the driver to give her some time and then, headed into the park. Just as she had wanted, there was not much people there and in there, no one will recognize her as the daughter of a rich mogul. She sighted him, then smiled. “Rick Davis.” She called, earning his attention. “Miss Janice Carter.” He uttered, shaking her hands. She sat down beside him. “What did I do to own a call from you miss?” He asked. “I am sure you know who Mister Smith is right?” She questioned. “He actually came into our home, stole a jewelry that I had bided from the council meeting and he is now on the run.” She explained. She watched as Rick Davis brought out a cigarette and a lighter from his mouth, lighting it up. “Then what does this have to do with me? Shouldn’t the polizia municipale be in charge?” “Yes they should but you know how the system works. I am sure Mister Smith didn’t just enter our home without someone protecting him, hence why I asked for you.” She told him. Rick Davis shrugged his shoulders. “Explains much, so what is the deal here? Should I get back only the jewelry or do you need the jewelry and the one that took it?” He asked. “Yes and I need him alive.” She answered then fished her hands into her bag, getting a sealed envelope out. “This should do. I will be waiting for your response.” And with that been said, she turned on her heels, heading for the car. Rick Davis is a spy that works for the government. She had met him while she was at hospital, after getting a surgery that changed her entire life. Maybe she should blame the fatal accident she got into as her parents told her. When she met him, she had gone out for a walk on her wheelchair and something fell down. She happened to picked it then waited for the owner to come and get it. And Rick Davis happened to be the owner. They instantly clicked and would have been beat of friends of her father had allowed her. A great loss for her but still, at the end of the day she is still friends with him. “Where to miss?” The driver asked her as she entered the car. “Home.” She answered. She is done for the day. Meeting Rick Davis was the reason why she came out of the house. And she has already asked her assistant to take care of the business at the office, she will only get notified if there is something important. She closed her eyes, thinking that she will be able to sleep before they reached home but that thought was disrupted when her phone rang. It was Rick Davis, making her wonder why the hell he was calling her when it wasn’t up to a minute when they had departed. She picked, pressing the phone to her ears. “I have found Mister Smith. I will attach a video at the end of the call and also an address of where you can meet me with time.” He informed, ending the call. A gasp escaped her lips. That was very fast of Rick. It wasn’t even up to ten minutes when they went separated ways and he has already finished his mission. Really she has to admit that Rick Davis is really good at his job. Definitely the reason why the government don’t want to let him go. So the plan for her right now is to go home, rest and then inform her mother of everything before she go to the address that Rick Davis had sent her. Immediately as the driver parked the car, she rushed into the house, and went to look for her mother instead. “Mother.” She screamed checking the places that she thought she could see her. A maid emerged from the kitchen, wiping her hands on the apron. “Welcome back miss Janice, your mother is in the kitchen.” The maid informed. Janice thanked the maid then walked passed her into the kitchen. “You are back.” Her mother said stirring some vegetables on the stove. “Yes mother, Mister Smith had been found.” She revealed. “By who? How? I thought we asked the polizia to stop the investigation?” Mother mumbled. Janice sighed. “Yeah, I contacted a friend for the job and he finished it in less than ten minutes.” She answered.
