Night School: School Of Vampires And Werewolves

Chapter 4

When Mia woke up, she was naked and alone. “Damn him, why did he leave?” She said putting her clothes back on. She looked at her phone, she missed two calls from her dad. “Shit.” She dialed his number.

            “Mia you okay?” her father picked up the phone.

            “Yeah, sorry I was sleeping when you called.” She said shaking her head. “Everything okay?”

            “Yeah, I just wanted to talk to you. I am coming there tomorrow and then we can move into our house.” He said sounding excited.

            “Finally!” she said happily.

            “Yeah, I know, so sorry it’s taken so long.” He spoke. “s**t I better go.” He said before hanging up the phone.

            Mia was happy that her Dad was coming back, now she didn’t have to worry about staying in the hotel, even though it was a decent one. She couldn’t wait to unpack her room and finally call it home. She couldn’t wait to talk to Shane, he would probably be happy that she isn’t in the hotel too.

            Tonight, they would go shopping, she was starving but knew she had to wait until dark. She got on her computer to surf the net, she was excited she wanted to tell Jenny about her new room and her boyfriend, but she hadn’t emailed back yet.

            Nighttime finally came around, Shane wasn’t there. Mia thought maybe he got what he wanted and wasn’t going to hang out with her.

            Two hours later, there was a knock at her door. She opened the door Shane stood there with some flowers and some groceries. “Sorry love I went to the store for you.” He said coming into her room.

            “I thought you got s*x and was done.” She said shaking her head,

            “Oh no, I plan to seduce you more.” He said putting the flowers and the groceries down on the bed.” He turned to face her. “Come here.” He said kissing her passionately. “I’ve been waiting all day to do that.” He said still holding her.

            “Me too.” She said looking down at the groceries. “What did you get me?” she said opening the first bag. “Oh, soup how did you know?”

            “You’re a girl, I’ve never met a girl that didn’t like that.” He laughed.

            She punched him in the arm. “And here I thought I was special.” She said sticking her tongue out.

            “Well, you are special, one of these days I want to make you a dinner. You still have to meet my parents; they are dying to meet you.” He said helping her get the rest of the food put on the table that didn’t require a fridge.

            “Oh really?” she said looking at him shocked. “I hope you didn’t lie to them.”

            He laughed. “Lie about what? That you’re funny, sexy and have my heart.” He said kissing her again. “Are you ready for school on Monday?”

            “Still not ready.” She said shaking her head.

            “Well, I guess we’re going to have to make you stay up all night so you can sleep all day tomorrow.”  He said half smiling. “We could do a lot tonight.” He said winking at her.

            “Ha-ha.” She said shaking her head. “I don’t know about that.” She said sticking her tongue out. “What I do know is I’m starving.” She said opening the soup and adding water to it. “You want some?”

            “Na, I don’t eat soup. That’s a girl thing. I prefer meat.” He said sitting on the bed. “You aren’t going to keep eating junk like that, you need to eat better.”

            “Yeah, well you don’t see kitchen, here do you?” she said shaking her head. “I love a good home cooked meal; my Mom made some good stuff. I miss her.”

            “Eh you will get to be able to have that again.” He said embracing her from behind.

            “Oh, that reminds me, my Dad should be here tomorrow.” She said turning to face him. “I cannot wait until he meets you.” She said kissing him, her hands moved down to his butt.

            “Mm, don’t start something you don’t plan on going through with.” He said kissing her again, he picked her up. The microwave dinged. “Oh, you’re lucky.” He said putting her down so she could go and get her food.

            Mia rolled her eyes. “Yeah, like the food really stopped you.” She laughed. She grabbed her soup, and began to eat it. Her phone rang shortly thereafter.

            “Hello daddy.” She said in the phone looking at Shane/

            “Another delay.” He sounded sad. “I won’t be there tomorrow.”

            “What!” she whined. “But you said.”

            “I know, there is another problem here.”

            “Why don’t you come and get me, so you’re not paying for the hotel and I can finish school there?” she said looking at Shane. He looked sad.

            “No, you have to stay there. The base is going to be sending someone to give you some food and other things that you might need.” He spoke. “I got to go.” He said before he hung up.

            “What happened?” Shane said looking at her.

            “My Dad isn’t coming tomorrow. Another delay.” She said shaking her head. She was sad, it’s been long enough for her to see her dad.

            Shane got up from the bed and walked over to her. “I will take care of you.” He said tilting her head up. “I promise.” He said kissing her.

            “Supposedly he is sending some military over.” She said pouting, she didn’t want the military to worry about her. She was fine, and she had her Dad’s credit card.

            “Are they going to move you outta here?” he asked.

            “No, but they are going to bring me more food and other things that I need.” She said taking a bite of her food. “I don’t want to stay in the hotel too long.”

            “Why don’t I ask my parents if you can stay at our house? I mean we have a spare bedroom you can use.” He suggested.

            “I uh I don’t know.” She said shaking her head. “I don’t know if my Dad would allow that anyways. I know he is going to freak out when he finds out I am dating you.” She said touching his face.

            “Let me talk to my parents, maybe my Dad can talk to your Dad, he’s military too.” He said getting up from the floor. “Don’t worry I will help you get this sorted.” He said walking back to the bed and laying down. “Besides I could sneak into your room at night and we could sleep together. And you wouldn’t have to worry about me leaving before dawn.”

            “Why did you leave me anyways?” she said looking at him.

            “My parents, they don’t like it when I don’t tell them where I am, and thought you probably would freak out if we were naked in bed.” He said laughing. “You surprised me last night.”

            “I did?” she said looking away. “Does that mean I am easy?”

            “No not at all.” He said laughing. “I just didn’t think we’d go that far. But I am damn sure we did.” He said getting up from the bed and walking over to her. “I wish we could do it every time we’re together, but I won’t because I don’t want you getting bored of me.”

            She looked at him, “I don’t think I could be bored of you.” She said standing up and wrapping her arms around him. “I do love you.” She said kissing him passionately.

            They laid down in bed and turned on the TV, there wasn’t going to be s*x tonight. Shane would leave once she was asleep. He knew keeping her up against her own body was a bad thing. It would take some time for her body to adjust, and then she should be fine. He would ask his parents if she could stay with them at least until her father made it to town.

            Shane ended up falling asleep with Mia, his phone buzzed in his pocket, he looked down. “Damn it.” He said picking up the phone. “Hi Mom.”

            “Where are you?”      

            “I am with Mia, I’ll come home now, she’s sleeping.” He said whispering. “Bye.”

            Morning peaked around; Mia was disappointed Shane wasn’t there again. She knew he needed to be home, and she should ask her Dad if she could stay with him. She knew the hotel thing was costing a lot of money. Rubbing her eyes, she grabbed a bagel and munched on it while watching cartoons. She felt like a little kid again, but she didn’t care.

            Sometime in the afternoon someone knocked on the door. She knew her father was having someone come and take care of food and such for her. She walked to the door; two military men were standing there with bags of food.

            “Your Dad wanted us to bring you some food.” He said walking into the room after she invited “them in.     

            “I know he told me you guys would bring some stuff for me.” She half smiled. “I am hoping he gets to come here soon; I hate the hotel room.” She said shaking her head.

            “Well, your house is ready, maybe I will ask the General if you can move in.” he said clearing his throat. “Here this is also for you.” He said handing her an envelope. “I’m guessing money.” He said smiling.  

            “Thanks.” She said putting it down. “Thanks for bringing me more food.” She said pulling some of the food out and putting it on the table. She was glad they didn’t bring too many things that require a fridge. They left after that.

            She finished her bagel, and then took a shower. She was glad they came today, she wanted to see the living during the day. She wondered why her Dad didn’t want her brought to the base, she wasn’t sure she would be in danger, but what if something happened.  She tried to put the thoughts out of her head, but it was hard to.

            She decided to walk around the town for a little while. She knew there wouldn’t be any stores she could go into, but she didn’t care too much. She found a couple of places she wanted to visit when they were opened. She just had to remember where they were.

            The sun was going down, this was the last day she had of freedom before she had to start school. She was excited, but she was also scared. She knew she had Shane and he would make sure no one messed with her, but it still scared her a little bit.

            Shane was at her hotel before she made it back. “Aw my girl exploring with me?” he said laughing.

            “Yeah, since this town likes to sleep the day away, I figured I wouldn’t be bothered by anyone.” She said hugging him.

            “So, I talked to my parents, and they are upset that you are by yourself, and wanted me to ask your Dad if he cared if you moved in with me.” He said kissing her. “I really think that is the best thing for you since you don’t know when your Dad will be here.”

            “I, I don’t know.” She said shaking her head. “My Dad is probably going to say no.” she said shaking her head. “I mean he might not.”

            “Well why don’t we call him and let me talk to him?” he said walking into her room with her. “Oh, someone brought you some more food.”

            “Yeah, my Dad had the military bring some. “he said grabbing her phone. “Hey Dad, my boyfriend wants to talk to you.” She said when he picked up the phone.

            “Boyfriend?” he questioned before he heard Shane’s voice. “Hi.”

            “Hi, you probably know my father Vincent DeMarco.” He said clearing his throat.

            “Yes, I do.” Her father said. “So, you’re his son?”

            “Yeah.” He said looking at Mia. “He wanted me to ask you if it was okay that Mia stayed at our house, that way you’re not paying for the hotel or have to worry about her being here alone.”

            “Your Father already talked to me, I agreed to it. But when I get there, I don’t want issues with her coming back to my house.”

            “I understand, there won’t be. Besides she needs protection, since she well is a girl.” He said laughing. Mia smacked him in the arm.

            “Very well, take care of my Daughter.” He spoke. “Let me talk to her before I go.”

            Shane handed her the phone; he was all smiles. “Hello?”

            “Yeah, you better be careful with him.” He ordered. “I don’t want to come there and find out your pregnant.” He spoke.

            “Don’t worry Dad, I’ll be fine.” She spoke. “I love you.”

            “Love you too.” He said hanging up the phone.

            “Well, that went better than expected.” Mia said looking at him. “He tells me I cannot be pregnant, good thing we use protection.” She said pulling him closer. “So, moving to your house?”

            “Yep. Let me call my Dad and have him bring his car, since you have all these groceries, we cannot walk.” He said pulling out his phone. “Hey Dad can you come to Mia’s hotel, her Dad gave her permission to move in with us, and the military brought her a ton of food.” He said rubbing Mia’s back. “Alright twenty minutes, we’ll be ready. Room 4.” He said hanging up the phone. “Well, we better get your stuff together, he will be here soon.

            Mia started with her computer, and the other things that were laying around there. Shane took care of the food. It only took them ten minutes to get everything together. Mia’s heart raced, she hadn’t met his parents yet, what if they didn’t like her?”
