Night School: School Of Vampires And Werewolves

Chapter 3

            “So, where you from Mia?” Shane asked trying to break the silence between them. “What brings you here?”

            “I am from Richardville, my Dad got a promotion to come here.” She said looking at him. “I am hoping this is the last time we have to move.”

            “What about your Mom?”

            “She died a few days ago.” Mia said trying to control the tears forming in her eyes. She didn’t want to talk about, but she knew he was going to ask about it.

            “I won’t ask about it.” He said putting his arm around her. “I can see it is still raw for you.” He said looking down the hallway. “Down there is where your science class is, here your math class. At least you and I have a couple of classes together.”

            “Yeah at least I have someone I can talk to.” She said shaking her head. “I hate being the new kid in school.”

            “Don’t worry you will get used to it; this school is laid back.” He said pulling her closer. “In fact, why don’t you hang out with me in my classes today, just so you can get the feel of things. The teachers are odd, but you will get used to them.” He said walking into a classroom with her. “My desk is in the back.”

            “Woah new girl.” A girl said. “I’m Anna.” She said half smiling. “I see you got Shane to take you around. Be careful of his charm, he might make you his.” He joked.

            “Shut up Anna.” Shane laughed. “Don’t listen to her, she is just trying to scare you. A lot of the girls here like me, so they would love to be my girlfriend, but none of them can handle me. You on the other hand might be able to.” He joked as he sat down.

            Mia sat down next to Shane; she did feel out of place. When the stares died down, she felt better. The teacher was weird, had more hair on the top of her head then Mia did. Maybe she had good genes with thick hair. The teacher didn’t even care Mia was there, Shane messed around with a couple of his kids.      

            “Shane do you want detention again?” she growled.

            “Na, I better behave, I have to show the new girl around.” He said pointing to Mia.

            “Yeah well, I will tell the principal to find someone else. You are distracting everyone with your talking.” She growled. “Maybe you’d rather teach the class this lesson.”

            Shane didn’t say anything, he knew the teacher was picking on him because she wanted to show Mia, she was the boss. Mia ducked a little. After the class was over, Shane put his arm around her again.

            “Don’t worry she is always like that.” He laughed.

            “I think I am going to go back to my hotel, I guess.” She said looking towards the doors.

            “You should stay, we are getting ready to go to McDonalds for breakfast, I’ll pay.” He said kissing her on her cheek. “You’re my girlfriend now.” He said laughing.

            “Um really?” she said confused, she didn’t know him well and he didn’t know her well.

            “Yeah, I mean if you don’t want to be, I won’t be mad. But like I said you would make the girls jealous, and you and I could have some fun.” He giggled like a little boy. “Come on.”

            “Well okay.” She half smiled.

            They walked the short distance to the McDonalds. “Go ahead have a seat, I’ll get us some food.” He said pointing to the table with his friends there.

            Mia waved at them nervously. They made room for her to sit down. She listened to them talk about school and the mall. She didn’t know if she would fit in. Her phone started to ring, she answered it.

            “Hey Mia, it’s dad.”

            “I know, I checked out the school. I start next week.” She said, everyone at the table got quiet so she could talk. “I have friends already.” She said smiling.

            “See and you thought you would get friends. My trip is delayed, I’ve already called the hotel and paid for the month.” He said sounding down.

            “A month?” she wanted to run and hide. She didn’t want to be on her own for a mouth.

            “Yeah, things are crazy at work here. They asked me to stay on a little longer. I’m sorry.” He spoke. “I better go, get some rest. I know this whole night school is going to be hard, but you will adjust.” He said making a kissing sound to the phone before he hung up.

            “Who was that?” Shane asked placing her food in front of her.

            “My Dad, he is delayed, so I am on my own for the month.” She said sounding sad. “Thanks for the breakfast.”

            They ate their breakfast; everyone was talking at the table except Mia. She listened, they talked about hunting and who would get the most kills. Shane mentioned vampires, but she figured they were talking about horror movies.

            After she finished, “I better get going.” She said looking at Shane. “I still haven’t gotten used to the whole night thing.” She said as a yawn escaped her.

            “Here I’ll walk you back to your house.” He said getting up.

            “Well hotel. My home isn’t going to be ready for a while.” She half smiled.

            “Still its where you sleep, so let me walk you there.” He said looking at his friends. “I’ll meet you back at school, I won’t be long.” He said pushing Mia towards the door.

            “Thanks for walking with me.” She half smiled.

            “I like you a lot, I know we’ve just met but I feel something for you.”  He said wrapping his hand around her.

            “I, I like you too.” She said looking into his eyes. His eyes were a light gray.

            They walked to her hotel room, she invited him into her room. “Sorry I have unpacked, only thing I seem to like is my computer.” She said pointing to her laptop. “My best friend had to move to Canada, and didn’t get to say good-bye.” She said shaking her head.

            He embraced her into a hug, “Can I kiss you?” he said looking her in the eyes. “I promise that would be the only thing that happens.”

            “Um okay.” She said, she could feel the flush in her cheeks.

            He leaned down and frenched kissed her, she was rather good. They kissed a couple of time. “You kiss great for a beginner.” He teased her. “I’ll see you tomorrow night, if you want, I can come and get you so we can walk to school.”

            “Um sure.” She half smiled. “I hope this isn’t going to mess your friends too much.” She said taking his hand. “I mean I like you a lot.” She blushed.

            “Great, my friends are friends. You are my mate.” He said kissing her again, this time he didn’t go as deep. “See you beautiful.” He said closing the door behind him.

            Mia felt happy, heart stomach was filled with butterflies. She walked to the window and looked to see if Shane had left the building. He was standing them, he smiled and waved to her. She waved back, and he ran out of the parking lot. She watched him until he was out of sight. She couldn’t believe she had a boyfriend. She knew her father wouldn’t approve, but at the moment she didn’t care. He left her for a month, she wished they were at the house already, but the hotel would be fine.

            She turned on the TV, but didn’t stay up. She dreamt of Shane, his seductive smile, the way he kissed. She couldn’t wait to do it again. She hoped he kissed her when he picks her up for school even though she didn’t start school for three more days.

            In the morning, she got on her computer, Jenny didn’t email, so she sent her one. “Starting to like this town. Already have some friends and a boyfriend I think.” She sent the email and then took a shower. She felt great after she was finished.

            She still couldn’t get used to the town being dead during the day, but she understood. She needed to go to the store tonight to get some food she could eat during the day. Maybe Shane would be able to help her, and show her around a little more. She knew school was important, but the weekend was coming up so she could wait for then as well.

            The day passed quickly; Mia wasn’t sure she would stay the whole night with Shane at school. She still wasn’t adjusted and her body fought her as hard as it could to keep her up all day. She was a little upset, at least until a knock at her door.

            She opened the door and Shane was standing there. “Hello beautiful, you ready for school?” he said with a smile.

            “Yeah, I guess, I cannot get used to being up all night and sleeping during the day. I feel like a vampire.” She said jokingly.

            “Yeah, you’ll get used to it I promise.” He said kissing her on her cheek. “If I am going too fast please tell me and I will slow myself down.” He said wrapping his arm around her.

            “I will. Kissing is good.” She said half smiling. “Better get going, it looks like we might be getting some snow or something.” She said looking at the clouds.

            “Well, its late fall, so snow isn’t something that would be unnatural.” He laughed. “Don’t worry I will keep you warm.” He said pulling her close.

            As they got closer to the school, she started getting nervous all over again. Shane looked down at her. “Why are you nervous?”

            “Um I don’t know.” She said looking away. “Me and school usually don’t get along very well.” She said shrugging her shoulders. “I guess I am not being very positive.”

            “Yeah, no kidding.” He laughed. “Don’t worry this school is laid back and fun. You will get used to the nights, and I will help you with homework if you want me to?”

            “Na I’m pretty smart with the whole school thing, its just I’m not very talkative I guess you could say.”

            Shane didn’t say anything, they found their seats in the back of the room. The teacher wasn’t in the room, everyone was talking to each other. Mia just watched, she like how her classmates acted, they seemed like they would be her friends. It probably had something to do with Shane.

            The teacher finally came into the room, when everyone saw her, they all went to their seats. Shane was quiet this time, he knew he didn’t want to be the center of attention, he wanted Mia’s attention. He grabbed her hand, and pulled her closer to him. She looked at him, he just smiled.

            “Don’t worry this class is easy.” He said snuggling into her hair. “You smell inviting.” He laughed.

            Mia tried not laughing but it was kind of hard.

            “Is there a problem in the back?” the teacher said clearing her throat. “You’re not supposed to be here until next week.”

            “Yeah, she knows.” Shane said before Mia could. “I am showing her around, she isn’t used to the whole night school things, don’t worry next week she will not be so distracted.”

            “I hope not.” The teacher said before turning back to the white board, continuing her lesson.

            “I love you.” Shane whispered.

            Mia didn’t know how to react, she half smiled and blushed.

            “It’s okay you don’t have to say it back, I promise I won’t say it too much.” He said kissing her hand.

            After class, they went to McDonalds. Mia was starving, she needed to really get more food. She was already losing weight.

            “Hey maybe tomorrow night you can show me where the grocery store is?” Mia said looking at Shane.

            “Yeah, or you can come to my house and my mom will feed you before school.” He said holding her hand. “I will let my parents know that I will be out tomorrow. Maybe I can stay the night in your hotel. I promise nothing will happen.” He said giggling. “But if something were to happen, I’ll make sure to be prepared.”

            “I don’t know if we’ll do anything but kiss.” She said elbowing him in the side. She saw that it hurt. “Oh, sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

            “Don’t worry love, I was pretending, I promise we’ll only kiss unless you lead to other things.” He said winking his eye.

            “Oh, look Shane is already trying to get into your pants.” One of Shane’s friends said. “I’d be careful you just might like it.” He said jokingly.

            “I said she can lead the way; I am not going to force her to do something that she doesn’t want to do.” Shane said sitting next to Mia. “Who’s getting food tonight, I got it last night.” He said looking at the two guys.

            “Ah, fine I will get it.” Pete said.

            “Good.” Shane said pulling Mia in for a kiss.”

            “Ew, dude, do that somewhere else.”

            Shane and Mia laughed. “Aw jealous bro?”

            Shane wanted to make a move on Mia, he got her to kiss him know he wanted to see how much she would allow him to do to her. When she finally entered school, it would be a lot easier to see her.

            They finished their breakfast and headed to Mia’s hotel. Shane grabbed her and kiss her hard. “Can I have some fun with you? I promise no s*x, but you want to feel you.” He said cupping your butt.

            “What do you have in mind.”

            “Bra and panties, I’d love to feel your skin to mine?” he said. “I promise no sex.” He said giggling. “I’ll even let your hands explore if you want?”

            “I, uh I don’t know if we’re ready for that step yet. You haven’t even slept here.” She said putting her hands on his butt. “But if you promise no s*x, then I don’t see why we cannot cuddle.”

            He smiled big. His hands found the bottom of her shirt, lifting it off. He was impressed seeing that she had a good set on her. She slowly took her pants off and got into bed. He took his shirt and pants off and got into bed next to her. She turned to face him.

            “Why do you like me?” she said touching his chest.

            “You’re beautiful and your personality.” He said pulling her closer, her hands trailed to his underwear. “Oh, feisty, are we?” he said feeling her hands near his p***s.

            “I uh, I’m sorry.” She said blushing.
