Celeste's POV
I am left in the kitchen filled with fear. When Theodore throw the knife my body froze in place.
It's been half an hour since he walked so I decided to clean the kitchen when I am done I walked towards his living room and then sat on the couch.
My body felt tired from everything that I have done today so I laid my back on the couch and closed my eyes.
I have no idea that I fell asleep I just woke up when I felt someone lifting me from the couch.
When I opened my eyes I saw Jeremiah's face. It took me a few seconds to process everything and when I am fully awake I tried to get off his hold but he held me firmly.
"Stay still if you don't want to fall," he firmly uttered. Afraid that I might piss him off again I followed his order and then stay still.
After a while, I felt my body being laid on the soft mattress.
"I'm sorry I fell asleep and I am sorry for pissing you off," I told him but he didn't bother to respond.
After a while, I felt the other side of the bed sink.
When I turned around our eyes meet. His dark brooding eyes looked at me directly.
"Why aren't you asking me for s*x?" I curiously asked.
"Do you want me to?" he asked intently and upon hearing that question I swallowed hard.
"T-That's part of my job," I told him.
"You can do whatever you want on me, you already bought me remember?" I told him.
"How many clients have you had before me?" he seriously asked.
"You are my first client," I responded which made him fall silent after a few minutes he spoke.
"Let's sleep," he told me so I nod my head.
"Do you want me to hug you?" I asked him and with his eyes closed he nod his head.
I carefully moved my body towards him and then hugged his body. Theodore hugged me back the buried his face on my neck while mine is buried on his chest.
"You felt familiar," he uttered which made me confused.
"How?" I curiously asked.
"You just felt familiar," he told me then pulled me even closer to his body after a while his breathing became heavy.
The heat that Theodore is giving felt comforting so I closed my eyes and allowed myself to be drawn somewhere.
