“Something isn’t right…” Hooper stood next to Randell, looking up. Randell followed his gaze. The stairs continued to climb higher. “How do you mean?” “You have been stopping every ten floors. We should have two more floors ahead.” Hooper pointed up. “That look like two floors to you?” It most certainly did not. To check his perception, he looked down the well again, and then back up.
