The squad that assembled should have been much more formidable. Kennedy scanned the motley group. There were six young adults, Alleye, and a Goblin. Nothing that might strike fear into… anyone.
However, she knew looks could be deceiving. Her hope was they might rise to the occasion and stop this virus. How dangerous can this possibly be? People do s**t like this all the time in the movies.
The plan was simple enough. She was certain the magic they controlled would make this a breeze. What forces might a group of norms bring against witches and the magic abilities of outcasts?
Kennedy would fly to the roof and work her way down to the floor that didn’t exist. Dani, Trinity, Randell, and Hooper would work their way up, the witches freezing any opposition Hooper could not talk
