The minute Beta Dakota walked in my wolf was on high alert. This was not good. ‘This man is dangerous.’ Aeros, my wolf, says. I look nervously at my son; he sees it too. Thank the Goddess. Mark knows what we are, he knows the risks if Kaitlin ever finds her mate or mates. He has been a blessing and was not even mad about his fate. He loves Kaitlin and treats her like a princess.
Beta Dakota is on edge when Mark tells him who he is. ‘He is ambitious. His wolf is not. They are not of one mind.’ Aeros tells me. Again, not good. I see his body get stiffer as our conversation drags on. ‘He is angry. He's shut his wolf out.’ Aeros is concerned. I see the Beta getting more and more tense. I wonder what he is after?
