John's POV
We exited Marks’ office and headed back up to the library. This wasn’t for pack members but for previous Alphas. Almost like a private office. This was positioned on the third floor where many of the Delta & Gamma rooms were. But looking at the master plans for the lodge, there is a small wing above the offices that is mysteriously left off the plans. This is where we keep all our family journals and important information. Anne disappears to her favorite armchair probably to think. I make my way to my favorite spot by the window that overlooks the grounds.
I watch as Kaitlin sneaks out of the house. I know she is drawn to her mate; I watch her from afar as she goes to his suite. I cannot see her in the suite but hear her heartbeat increase and stay elevated
