Unexpected visit

His massive frame made my own look a lot more petit and fragile than I ever thought it to be. Seeing him again was as strong as the first time, his body... his presence drew me in and I could not do anything about it. For the first time in my life, I could not push away my emotions even if I did not understand them. His eyes were completely concentrated on my body and it made me feel bolder and lighter than I had ever felt before. I... I wanted to touch him... I wanted him to touch me... Shit. Shouldn't I be heartbroken right now? The man I loved... or at least I thought I loved for years just told me that he loved my sister. I should be crying my eyes out or at least I should be feeling sad and not wondering how his skin would taste. His skin would taste? Something is wrong with me. That thought drew me back to the current moment and the situation we would be in if anyone saw him here. What the hell was he doing here? Quickly, I turned around to face him, taking big steps so there would be quite a big distance between us. I saw his eyes eating away at my naked skin and a big part of me wanted to cover myself up in shame, but my pride didn’t let me. I am a queen and I refuse to shiver in shame and fear, even if I am barely dressed with a stranger in front of me. With my head up and back straight, I looked him straight into his eyes as I said. “What the hell are you doing here?” He blinked a few times, forcing his eyes to move up my body, but it was clear that he was having a very hard time with this task, but after a few moments he finally managed to meet my eyes. A vain part of me liked how distracted he was by my body, but I didn’t let myself look too deeply into it right now. He is the enemy and I can't forget what is at stake right now. “I got lost.” I blinked a few times as I heard his excuse... which was... wow. Was that the best he could come up with? I rolled my eyes and answered him. “Yeah, and I am a freaking unicorn. What are you doing here, Raven?” When his name rolled down my tongue, his eyes shot up to my face again after it lingered down to my breast again. I guess he liked me calling him by name because the most wicked smile appeared on his face. “Okay, you got me. I was hoping that we could have a little chat.” He took a step forward, stepping over the gown on the floor and stopping right in front of me. “And you decided it was a great idea to break into my bedroom for a chat? If there was something that urgent, you could have asked one of the servants to deliver the message and we would have had a proper conversation in the proper surroundings. Now would you be so kind as tell me how you got in here and leave before someone catches you here and I would have even a bigger mess in my hands than I do now?” He took one more step in my direction and now he was standing right in front of me. I am not sure how he managed to cross the room in just a step but he was right in front of me. I could feel his breathing on my skin. Each tickle of breath on my skin sent a wave of shivers down my body. Shit… I know that I should call for help and force him to leave. This is beyond inappropriate, but the gleam in his eyes... If anyone discovered that he was in my bedroom like this, not to mention saw me almost naked, there would be a scandal and god knows what big of a storm of trouble it would cause. But I felt something I had not felt in years... I felt intrigued by his boldness and what he had to say. Standing right in front of me, slowly he reached out to brush away one of the escaped strands of hair from my cheek. Shivers, unlike ones I had ever felt before, ran down my back and somehow ended up in my lower belly. I know that I should smack his hand away. He is taking too big of liberty with his actions right now… but I couldn’t find the willpower to do so. I was too tempted to know why he was here and where this all was going to lead. “There is no need to worry about that. No one saw me walking in here. You are safe. Let’s say I found a bit of an unusual way in. And as I am already here and so are you, we can have a little chat about our situation and then I will let you rest, little queen.” His voice was low and raspy. I felt myself drawing in a deep breath, but that was not the best choice. My lungs filled with his scent and it made me a bit lightheaded. It was partly the tight corset not letting my lungs fully expand, but it felt a bit more than the usual lightheadedness. “I think you are taking advantage of my hospitality, sir.” My voice didn’t sound like my own. It was low and raspy… it was more like a whisper than anything else. His eyes travelled to my lips as a knowing smile filled his lips. Slowly he leaned in a bit closer to whisper the next words right into my ear. “I like that… I like the word sir coming out of your pretty mouth…” Each word felt like a lick across my neck and I almost moaned... His hand travelled from my hair, down my cheek as it brushed over the top of my corset. His fingers moved gently, lightly glazing the top of my breasts that were barely held in by the tight corset. Air got stuck in my throat as I jumped back from the sudden contact of his warm fingers and my cold skin. The shock from sudden skin-to-skin contact drew me back to reality. What the hell am I doing? I pushed his hand away and walked away from him to get my dressing gown from the chair next to my bed. “I think you are forgetting yourself, King Black.” He answered with a burst of low laughter that vibrated through the room. I fastened the dressing gown around my waist and turned to face him. Even now, covered up, I still felt unstable… I could still feel his fingers on my skin. SHIT!
