Eli settled into their sleep area and waited. The plants were all fine, and if anything came up, the crew knew where he’d gone. The Station wasn’t big enough to get lost in. Outside was a different story. He knew Yakecen wouldn’t be in for a while. The booster rewire job was a huge undertaking and his friend worked on it until he was almost asleep at the wires. It wasn’t that Yakecen had some great love for hard work, Eli learned a long time ago. It was more like the job had to be done and if Yakecen could do it, it might as well be him.
