Chapter 2 “Balls,” was the first thing out of his mouth as he waltzed into the Tranquility, sharp green scent stinging his nose from all the cut chives bundled and afloat through the compartment. A rustle against the far wall drew his attention over to Saito, elbow deep in a creeping pole of beans. Black eyes narrowed at him as their farming expert turned his head almost completely around to face him. He wondered if Saito knew how creepy and owl-like he looked when he did that. “That doesn’t sound promising.” Saito’s focus sharpened.
