Chloe was ripped from Dominic clutches and pushed to the side as Ian hit Dominic with a hot fist making him fall to the ground even though Ian had given up being an alpha he was still strong, and Dominic stood up to fight him but Ian gave him another hit in his stomach his wolf showing, threatening to find out and deal with this pup that dares to touch his mate
“Mine” he kept growling and Chloe tried to go to him to stop the fight between the two yelling on top of her lungs
“You hurting him please stop” but Abby pulled her before she could reach them watching from the other side of the kitchen
“Let them fight Chloe, and Dominic deserves it” she whispered the last part but Chloe heard her
“His going to hurt him how can you let this happen” she yelled at her but Abby was calm, Dominic touched someone mate while he came with his mate, how was that explainable?
“Because I have a baby I love growing inside of me to protect” and for a moment Chloe felt guilty for putting her child in danger but she couldn’t let Ian hit Dominic
“Ian please let him go your hurting him” she shouted, but this time she was far from the two wolves trying to kill each other on the floor
“What’s going?” said the voice by the door looking at the scene in front of them
“Ian, get off my son” said Caleb trying to go to them but Lily pulled him back
“You not going anywhere, now what did Dominic do now?” she already knew it was her son's fault he got Ian mate pregnant after all
“He kissed Chloe” Abby answered while the two were still fighting on the floor
“okay then he deserve it Ian hit him” said Lily she was tired of Dominic immature behaviour, he deserves a little whooping
“but baby?” said Caleb trying to argue but Lily was not having it, he could see that Dominic had his father’s genes Caleb was also this irresponsible when they were younger
“Caleb, your son is turning into you, can’t you see it? Someone had to put sense into him, and that responsibility lies with you, you have experience and he has a mate, a girl who has no one but him, just like I did, do you want him to have the life you did because of someone who is not his mate and human?” she scolded she didn’t like how Caleb liked to protect Dominic, he knows he wants to make up for lost time but this was not it
“I’m sorry” he said ashamed but Lily squeezed his arm as Jason and Nick came in the kitchen with swollen lips and Abby smirked knowing what they were up to, this two were more in love than ever and it was a good things were Awkward for a while there when they first had their s****l encounter
“What’s going on?” said Jason
“Ian is whooping Dom, ass” said Abby happily and Chloe groaned why did people stand there and did nothing pretending like they don’t see two grown man fighting
“What did Dom do now?” groaned Jason, and they all laughed because everyone knew it was Dominic’s fault
“He kissed Chloe” Abby answered and Chloe cheeks actually turned red she was embarrassed, when they told Jason and she didn’t even know why, they were not together anymore
“Then he deserves it, if anyone touched my mates I’m going to kill them” said Jason pulling Nick to him looking at Abby who had Chloe in her arms
Everyone was looking at the fight like nothing was happening and Caleb was fighting the edge to help his son from his best friend clutches but he just got the love of his life back and he won’t risk sleeping alone again
The fight broke, Ian getting off the bruised Dominic who was now laying on the floor with blood in his mouth
“Touch my mate again I’m going to kill you pup” he growled fixing his torn shirt
“I already touched her, f****d her and dump her, have fun having my left over” he got up smiling giving Ian his bloody sadist smile and Ian was going to kill him this time and the joke was over as Jason took over as alpha king to stop the fight
“Ian stop right there, and Dominic in my office now” his eyes changed to hazel and ocean blue his aura filling the room suffocating each wolf in there making them bow their head submitting to their king, he was angry to hear Dominic talk like that about Chloe and he could see the hurt in her eyes and Abby big mouth already told him she was carrying his child, but this pup was not ready for a child if he was acting as a child himself
Dominic feet led him to the office not even waiting for Jason and Jason went to Chloe squeezing her hand and kissing her forehead and two small growls were heard from Abby and Nick making him chuckle leaving the room.
“You need to talk to your son, and today” Lily said upset leaving the room and Caleb ran after her, now it was only Chloe, Abby and Ian left in the room
“Ian, I know you want to talk to your mate but please give us five minutes and you will talk I have things to discuss with her” said Abby and Ian nodded
“I will ask Caleb for a new shirt and I will be back” he said looking at his mate his been looking for so long with so much love but Chloe eyes were full of hurt and betrayal as he left the room
“I’m so sorry about my brother but Chloe this is a blessing in disguise” said Abby, and Chloe left her chest wondering what stupid blessing she was talking about
“I don’t understand what you talking about Abby his the father of my child and he talked to me like I’m the slut he picked up from the street, he called me his left over, after I told him I loved him, what am I going to do now?” she sniffed
“You going to go with Ian to his pack, give him a chance and move on with your life, as you said Dominic was not in your future, his words proves that you two were never meant to be, his a child and he already has a mate, let him be her problem, you have someone who is going to love you the way I love my Nick and Jason, don’t you want that?” asked Abby
“But I don’t love him, and I’m carrying someone’s else child” she wiped her swollen eyes pouting, and Abby smiled at her cuteness
“You don’t have to love him, just give Ian a chance, and for now I don’t think it’s a good idea for Dominic to know about the child yet” Abby was right Dom was not ready for a child thought Chloe
“what if he doesn’t want me after he Learns I’m pregnant? Abby you know I have nowhere to go, I can’t go back to my family I will rather live in the streets” she was still pouting, now she looked like a small child
“He will want you, I promise all you have to do is be honest with him okay?” she kissed her forehead as Chloe nodded, and hoped for the best, even though she had doubts, and knew her heart still belonged to the asshole Dominic
Ian got in the kitchen and his eyes went straight to Chloe looking at her with do much longing
“Ian, Chloe is ready to go home” said Abby kissing her forehead
“Now?” She seemed shocked at the announcement it was already dark outside, she thought maybe she had a couple of days
“Yes, now” she whispered in her ear so low that even Ian couldn’t hear her
“You are going to pop in couple of days” she nodded understanding what she meant since Dominic was not supposed to know about the baby yet or ever thought Chloe adrenaline leaving her body only hurt and anger were left from Dominic's words
“You ready?” said Ian smiling at the news
“Yes, I need my fetch my bags but don’t worry they are still packed” said Chloe hugging Abby for the last time leaving her in the kitchen, she was sure to miss her so much, now she had to start all over again, her life was a mess already, but wasn’t it always or maybe she was just cursed she thought going to her room with Ian on her heels checking her ass as she moved, and she stopped turning around
“why are you following me?” She raised an eyebrow at him she might have agreed to go live with him but that didn’t mean she liked him at all, she was doing this because she had no choice, story of her life
“To carry your bags, I won’t let you stress yourself, and the baby” he announced shocking Chloe
