“Why? Is it because she is your ex-girlfriend?” He taunted but Jason was not playing with him and he knew the was only one way to speak with the cocky bustard

“You know as tradition demands nobody becomes an alpha when he doesn’t have alpha blood” he said looking at his hand, and Dominic eyes went wide

“You wouldn’t” Jason could hear a worry in his voice

“Try me Dominic, and see if I wouldn’t who wants an incompetent alpha, because that’s what you’re, where is your mate? Why leave her alone when she knows no one in the house, did you formally introduce her as your Luna to everyone?” he raised an eyebrow making Dominic look down in shame

He walked through the long hallway to Chloe’s room but saw both Ian and Chloe with bags going to the front door he almost growled at the sight how can Chloe leave with a man she hardly know, he wanted to stop her, tell her to stay but his pride stood in the way, and he turned the corner thinking maybe it was a good thing now he didn’t have to apologize, he thought going to the garden

“My little girl” he said proudly looking at his mate who was jumping from rock to rock happily her blonde hair going up and down, wearing a cute pink dress that matched her little girl personality

“Hi, daddy” she said waving her hand smiling at Dominic from the moment she woke up the first thing she said after opening those gorgeous blue eyes was 'daddy' at first Dominic was shocked his pants tighten at her soft sweet voice, and her sweet scent of cotton candy but soon he loved her melodic voice every time she called him daddy his heart swelled with joy

The sweet of smell of cotton candy filled the air as Dominic eyes were still wide but this time it was because he was pointing head first to the rocks in the garden

“I’m a very possessive witch, and I won’t let you touch another woman while I’m still alive daddy, that’s wrong even my wolf friend agrees with me” she shook her head in disappointment

“I’m sorry princess it’s not going to happen again” Dominic yelled from the air

“Promise daddy, promise” she demanded stomping her feet, she was kidnapped since she was ten so her personality hadn’t changed much from the little girl, she was then and Dominic noticed it too, but he thought it was cute

“I promise” he finally said

“pinkie promise?” she came intertwining their pinkie fingers together before she finally let him go and Dominic sat on the floor dizzy and she came to sit on his lap

“ you’re only my daddy, mine!” she smiled kissing his cheek, resting her head on his chest

“How did you know? where you listening to us?” said Chloe glaring at Ian who was looking sheepish

“ it’s not like you two were trying to keep it down, I overheard when I was coming back, sorry if being excited to finally finding you made me hear about a your secret” Chloe felt bad for a second she forgot that Ian was waiting for her but she was not ready for a relationship

“Next time don’t listen to people conversation that’s just rude” she turned going to her room putting her cosmetic and other clothes in her small bag, Ian taking out both her luggage in the closet

“Is this all of it?”

“I think so” said Chloe looking at the room, again she was moving and she never ever had a home, even were she was born was never a home to her, she was raised by maids and her parents hardly talked to her, and for so long she thought the maid was her mother and she was heart broken when they told her the mean lady of the house was here real mother

She shook her head, getting those thought out of her head, no matter how hard she tried to forget the past and build a life for herself it was getting harder everyday and now she was carrying a child she didn’t know how she is going to support or if Ian will accept the child as his, her life was a mess

Ian went to her and wiped a stray tear making her jump, but relaxed looking at him

“I’m sorry we can go now” she picked the small bag in the bed

“Don’t ever apologise to me mate, I can feel your hurt and just know what I’m here for you and I will always be here for you and our baby” he kissed her forehead before Chloe heard his words right

“Our baby?” She was shocked and upset at the same time was him calling her child his a good or bad thing?

“since you not ready to tell the pup” he spat the last part

“I’m going to tell people the baby is mine, you don’t mind do you?” he smiled making her angry, okay just pissed or it was her hormones

“So, you made the decision without telling me first? Ian this is my baby, and before you even think of claiming it like you did me, I suggest you ask me first” she turned going to the door, she really didn’t know why she was upset, was it the fact that Ian accepted the child or the fact she wanted the words to come from Dominic? She was too upset to tell yet but she was ready to get out of there

They walked to the door and Chloe could feel Dominic presence looking at them as they left and her heart beat faster, hoping he would come to his senses and called her back, tell her he was sorry and he loves her the way she loves him, but they reached the door and she turned looking at his back that was going to the garden to his mate, he really hated her that much she thought with tears in her eyes finally closing the door, to the love of her life, and hoping she was making a good decision!
