“you really love him don’t you?” I looked outside the window watching my reflection in the darkness of the night, my eyes blood shot, I couldn’t help the tears that fell the moment Ian drove us to the airport, it became real I was moving again leaving the friendships I made behind, and I couldn’t help feeling alone and lonely
My walls automatically went up again, I know Abby told me to give Ian a chance but I couldn’t take a chance of someone hurting me again, I was very sad, but I touched my stomach hoping the gods will change our destiny
“Yes, I love him that’s why I don’t want you to have your hopes up Ian, I’m still healing from this and I’m not ready for all this but I hope you take me moving in with you right now to be enough” she didn’t dare look at him, it was enough to know that his hurting but she was not going to feel guilty about loving Dominic, even though it didn’t work out she got a special gift from him, and that will be enough for her
“Sleep, we still have a long way to go' said Ian, he will be lying if he said those words didn’t hurt him, but he loved her, and his wolf didn’t care that she was carrying another man pup he was happy to have found his mate, and for now that will be enough, he thought closing his eyes, resting before he got to his pack, that was ready to meet his mate

When Chloe woke up she was on the moving car that was in the forest and she knew they were almost there, by now she had realised all the packs where located deep in the forest but what she saw next got her irritated, they had just past the trees when she came face to face with a big pack house but that was not the problem
The problem was it seemed like Ian had informed all of their pack members to welcome them, and he didn’t tell her, what was wrong with this man, but she said nothing, she must have just looked like a mess she thought fixing her hair into a pony tail with a elastic band, and quickly opened her small cosmetic bag looking for wipes to wipe the sleep away, making Ian chuckle
“What’s funny?” she said wiping her eyes from last night’s make up
“You looked beautiful, there was no need for all that” but the look he got from her made him shut up fast wiping the smile of his face, and Chloe rolled her eyes continuing to wipe her face
The car stopped in front of the pack house making the people waiting there smile, showing their perfect white teeth, Chloe couldn’t help but think werewolves were magnificent creatures, everything about them where perfect even their big built bodies
Ian got out of the car, and opened the door for her and she fixed her wrinkled dress using her hands, her heartbeat was fast and making him hold her hand for support whispering in her ear
“its alright, no need to be nervous we are a family here” she nodded walking with him, at the back of her mind she didn’t believe him, she never had a family, and Dominic broke that hope she had, they were his family not hers
They all smiled waving at them and she waved back mastering a smile until they got to the door where two people were standing and from their statue you could tell it was the alpha and his Luna, but what shocked her was Ian had a more powerful aura than both of them combined? Her thought got interrupted by the thick husky voice of the man that looked similar to Ian
“Brother” he said giving Ian a brotherly hug with a huge smile on his face
“Is this her” he mentioned smiling and Chloe couldn’t help the blush that tinted her cheeks
“Yes, I finally found her” answered Ian smiling looking at her with so much admiration, and it warmed her heart for a second before she shook it off
“She’s beautiful” he said and his mate slapped his arm making them both chuckle but Chloe didn’t think it was funny
“ I’m the only one you call beautiful” she said playfully but Chloe didn’t hear the humour in her voice, and it all sounded forced or was she seeing things? Or reading too much in this situation, since she had her powers she seemed to read people too much
“I’m Gloria the Luna of this pack” and she emphasized Luna, and that made her think she was not wrong about her, she seeks dominance over her but why? When Ian said he was a beta not an alpha but the the question about why Ian aura was still powerful over theirs lingered in her mind but she put it aside taking her soft hand in hers in a formal handshake
“And this flirt here is my mate and husband Eddie” she smiled holding his arm tight maybe to not shake her hand but he came closer giving her a kiss on a cheek making her smirk, she didn’t know why but for some reason she was going to be happy putting Gloria in her place
“Hi, I am Chloe” she smiled but these time is was genuine
“Welcome to the smallest pack in the area I guess” he smiled but Gloria hit his shoulder again
“Welcome to the crescent white pack” said Gloria forcing a smile she seemed like she was the wearing the pants in that relationship, and it was going to be fun watching them, okay it’s sounds wrong but her life’s sucks at the moment she needs entertainment
“Thanks” she smiled unconsciously taking Ian hand in hers making him smile entering the big pack house it was the same as at Dom..” she swallowed the name and the hurt that came with it walking with Ian with a smile plastered on her lips, if she was going to live here, this was going to be her home for now so she looked around as Ian lead her to the dining area and a big buffet breakfast was set for all of them the table was so big it would fitted hundreds of people
“We created this feast just for you” she seethed this time she was not even hiding it and both man pretended not to hear her, what the hell was wrong in this pack?
“Thank that’s nice of you, I’m sure the helpers didn’t mind” she smiled and Ian lips stretched into a smile, and Eddie hide his with a cough
She scoffed sitting at the head of the table and the smell of medium rare steak made her want to devour it, and she couldn’t help herself and didn’t even wait for the maids and went straight to it and dished out for herself and Gloria side glared at her, but who cared she was craving for it
Chloe sat down to eat, taking a fork and knife digging in like a homeless person who had been starving for weeks, and after having half of it she heard a chuckle next to her and Ian giving her napkin
'easy there tiger” he whispered in her ear making her smile sheepishly wiping her mouth her cheeks pink with embarrassment
“Ian can you please tell your mate its rude to eat before the Luna, and alpha has” Gloria said her voice whiney
“Its fine Gloria they have travelled a long way, and you can see his mate is very hungry” said Eddie but Gloria wasn’t having it, and Chloe wondered why Gloria didn’t like her when they didn’t even know each other yet
“No, just because she’s Ian mate doesn’t mean she is special, how we supposed to run the pack when everyone thinks it’s okay to do what they want Eddie this is not right” she stood up but Eddie pulled her back down glaring at her
“ Sit down and behave Gloria will talk about this later” he whispered lovingly in her ear but Of course everyone heard which meant Ian and Chloe heard also
She wined but nodded sitting back down, they continued to eat more like eat while Ian was watching her like some pervert, and for some reason she didn’t mind his staring Gloria was the one she wanted to deal with sooner or later, she had a feeling of putting her in her place, showing her the real b***h hidden behind all this
But it was still early days so she will wait until she confronts her, but for now she was going to ask Ian what’s her deal
