Episode 14

He never step out they say, unless he got something very important to do. Quincy put everyone in awe as he showed up that night to rescue not only one of his werewolf but also the woman he love more than life itself.

He circled his hands around her waist and gives her the strength she needed. He gives her the comfort she craves for.

He never noticed any other people. All he could see is no one but Sage Preston who still lean over him. Alpha Kyro of crescent pack was still astonished. Obviously he never expected the Alpha of moon pack to show up but he did.

At last everyone regain back their senses. Alpha Kyro's eyes roam about before settling on Quincy's hands on sage. This sight irritated him so much and he quickly signals the cops to take Sage away from the Alpha of Moon pack.

Abruptly the cops surge forward, aiming to do their job but then the voice came. It was calm and gentle but also challenging. Everything about the syllable word speaks highly of threat and danger.

" Lay a finger on her and you die. Just a tip on her and I swear on my dead father's tomb I won't hold back " Quincy swore as he pull Sage gently away from his arms. However the lady didn't want to go. She just keep clinging on the man so much. She is scared that he'd walk away. She is scared that she will be taken away at the end.

Quincy Moon senses her Shivers and this brought him to awe.

" Do you have to be scared when your Alpha is here? What are you so afraid of? " He asked in a whispers and sage pulled back now to sniff carefully. She bow her head in somewhat guilt as she apologized.

" I'm sorry "

" Hey ... " He called in surprised when he saw her face stained with tears. In horror he reached for her cheek and gently lifted up her chin to force eye contact. " You have been crying? What happens? "

" This lady here ... "

" Are you hurt? " Quincy cut in, interrupting Kyro who was about to accused sage for murder. Now everyone was surprised. No one ever have the nerve or dare interrupt Kyro when he is speaking.

Hell, he is known to be the most wicked Alpha ever own a pack so everyone keep away from him and his bad side but Quincy had clearly discarded him as though he just a no body.

This stunned Kyro Crescent and he took no time to grit his teeth angrily. He waited now for Quincy to ask questions as he vow to go with Sage that same night without fail.

" Who hurt you Sage? " Quincy asked in great concern. He seem urgent and desperate to know if anyone had lay hands on her in a bad way. His Blue eyes searches hers for answer and she replied, at last.

" Harry Crescent ... My mate is Dead "

Everyone stiffened abruptly, including Quincy who never expected that turn at all. " He is Dead. I can't feel any Bond for my mate anymore "

" I'm confused Sage. Harry Crescent is your mate? "

" Yes "

" And he is dead? Isn't he the one you left minutes ago to meet with? "

" Exactly! " Kyro chipped in again this time. " She dares come into my pack and murdered my own brother "

Quincy heard this and he swallowed hard. Slowly he turn slowly to Gage with a confused expression. Everyone wonders what has gone wrong in a second.

" Who is this man? " Quincy asked, surprising everyone. A Lady from the audience nearly laugh out loud at her Alpha's question. Surely everyone knows Quincy has been locked up in his own house for seven years. He just stepped out for the first time two days ago to become an Alpha.

He never attended to any important meeting and the outing he goes with Gage Preston, his beta the previous night has been wiped off from his memory for he isn't his real self at that time.

" I don't know ... Can anyone just barged into a pack and start speaking nonsense without been dealt with? Is this how it is now ? "

" Alpha Quincy ... " Gage, the bets Began softly. " This man right here is the Alpha of Crescent pack "

" So? " Quincy asked with his hands spread out and his eyebrow raised up in wonder. " Yeah? And so what? Being an Alpha doesn't give you the audacity to come into my pack and started accusing my wolf wrongly "

Silence spread out again. This time it was Kyro who grit his teeth in great anger. He marched forward to Quincy very intimidatingly but the Alpha of moon pack never break a sweat. He only waited for him to get closer and he listen.

" I am taking that lady Quincy and by Moon goddess you won't be stopping me " Kyro mutters coldly as he stared right, dangerously into Quincy's eyes.

The latter heard this challenge and he accepted it with a nod. Slowly he pulled away from Sage who gave a low gasp. She didn't want Quincy to moved away from her at all but the man did as though to tell Kyro to take her.

The Alpha of Crescent pack now grin in glee. He thought he won but never did he knows they are more to come. He reached out to get hold of sage's wrist but the force come forward. It was like a smooth breeze which zoom off like the wind to announced heavy downpour.

A movement that could match none other. Quincy dashed forward to do damage. He aim to kill Kyro Crescent for daring him in his own pack. The Alpha of moon pack didn't have to awaken his werewolf before possessing the strength to pushed off Kyro Crescent so savagely.

Everyone gasp, including Sage who is the real reason behind the sudden brawl. Kyro lost his footing for some seconds but he stood still at last, steadying himself.

He puff out in great anger, Wondering where Quincy get the energy from. Kyro Crescent is known to be the most feared Alpha and he loved the attention that comes with the title. He do not wish to loose it to a man who is known wide and near as a prisoner in his own home so he attacked Quincy too with the determination to draw his blood.

Kyro pulled out his own claws and zoom off to Quincy with his speed but little did he knows the one he has challenged isn't merely an Alpha. He is also the Demon lord.

Kyro aim to injure Quincy only at his own risk. The Alpha of moon pack only wave his own claws and suddenly stopped. Kyro also stiffened on his spots, making everyone to wonders what has happened.

Just then Kyro Crescent face turn purple and blood gushes out from his upper arm so swiftly. He swayed on his feet but quickly goes to his car before he passed out.

" I will come back Quincy and Mark my word, I will burn your world and take that woman " Those were Kyro's words before he entered his car and Zoom off with the cops.

After the departure of the man who had claimed Sage is a murderer, everyone couldn't still believe what has just taken place.

They were still shocked, especially Sage who couldn't move from the spot she stood. She had just witness another blood minutes ago and this one was causes by the man she love so much.

Quincy Moon makes his claws vanish and then walk towards Sage, aiming to console her but the lady took a step back in somewhat fear.

" Sage ... " The Alpha called but when he saw the fear in her eyes he decided to let her be. " Take her in Gage. She is still shock "

Quincy now look up to Preston who he will be seeing for the first time in Seven years. He slowly nodded at him then turn around, heading towards his building when the call came out.

" Alpha Quincy? " Preston call as he walk gently before the leader who had stop now. " Alpha Quincy... Can you please take Sage ... With you? "

" With me? "

" Yes " The man replied sadly. " I know you don't know anything really that has been happening so far in the outside world for the past Seven years. It's different now Alpha Quincy. You see that man you just hurt ... He will come back and I am scared he will ... "

" How do you mean he will come back? " Quincy asked cluelessly. " He doesn't have the speed. He have no strength to match mine. He has nothing. He only got the ability to give fear and ... I have got nothing to fear from him. Why should you be scared when you are safe here? "

" You don't understand "

Quincy Moon feel left out. He turn around to the people, his people who were looking. Now he nodded. He agreed he didn't understand. Slowly he sigh.

" I'm sorry if my Dad hasn't been doing his duty till he died. Trust me he love Moon pack after me but I promise to make it all right. To make you all feel safe and sound. I will do my job right from now on " He said to Preston who took pride in watching the young vibrant man who now shifted his gaze to Sage.

Quincy turn back to Preston and said, this time more softly.

" I love her. You know about it? "

" I do " Preston replied with a small smile. " And I accepted you ... Firstly as my Alpha and secondly as my son in law if ever you want "

This acceptance, new information settled in the heart of Quincy, making it leap for a great Joy. He couldn't react however because there are audience and he has his worries.

Slowly he extended his palm Towards Sage who fidgeted for some seconds before accepting the Alpha's offer.

" I will keep her safe " Quincy swore and Preston nodded. He believes him even though he knows perfectly well Quincy has his dark Secrets.
