Lucas

Sebastian The following day, the pack was enjoying a delightful breakfast. Well, until Lucas made his grand entrance. "Good morning, doggies!" He shouts enthusiastically. I wasn't the only one who growled out loud from being called a dog. He always does this and it never fails to annoy me. "Calm down, calm down. I'm only joking." He playfully throws his hands up in surrender. Alpha Damon gives his brother a hug followed by Luna Alexandria. Some of the omega's who haven't found their mates yet fan girl over Lucas. I find it pathetic how they hang on to his every word and eye him like a piece of meat. Out of all the she-wolves, Brooke is the one Lucas tends to favor. The others don't hide their envy very well, but refuse to act like their jealous in front of the devil. They simply try their best to impress him with their looks and bullshit stories they come up with about themselves. He eventually excuses himself from his groupies and approaches the Luna. "Alexandria, would you like to accompany me on a walk?" I overhear him ask our Luna. He then stares at Alpha Damon and adds, "Alone." "I rather walk off a cliff than join you anywhere alone." She says with a sweet voice. I stifle my laugh and continue to listen to their conversation. I am in charge of keeping an eye on her, so I don't feel bad for eavesdropping. "How about you take Brooke on a walk?" She suggests instead. He simply shrugs his shoulders. "I guess. I could use a good f**k. See you later gorgeous." He blows a kiss to Luna Alexandria and goes back to Brooke. "With all due respect, Alpha, can't you just ban him from coming here or get a restraining order?" I ask through link. "He's my brother. A pain in the ass, but still my family. I can't do that to him. I appreciate the concern though. Just keep an eye on my mate. Thank you." I do as instructed and never stay too far from the Luna. It's my turn to lead combat training, but David gets assigned to it instead. The next few days fly by without any incidents, much to my relief. It's finally Thursday and Lucas will be returning to hell at some point today. The sooner the better. "We good for the bar tonight?" David asks me in the hallway as we head downstairs to the living room. I understand why he's asking, considering what happened the last time we went. I nod my head, "Yes." I say with a smile even though I'm nervous as hell. "Someone say the bar? Good riddance. I thought you guys were all boring. What time are we going?" Lucas literally appeared out of nowhere. f**k. He's the last person I want to join us in the establishment where my mate works. "WE are not going anywhere," I state through gritted teeth. "Oh, come on Sabby. It'll be a fun time!" I HATE when he calls me Sabby. "My name is Sebastian, not Sabby. You wouldn't want me calling you Lukey, would you?" He scrunched his face in disgust. Later that night, the same guys as last week along with Lucas, Alpha, and Luna join me and David at the bar. Apparently, Lucas guilted his brother into going out for just one night with him as they vaguely see each other. "Well, damn. What's a beauty like you working at this dump for?" Lucas immediately asks Ariel as he takes a seat at the counter. My blood begins to boil with rage. I watch her facial expression and can tell she's faking a smile. "I enjoy working here, so please don't talk down on me or this bar. If it's such a dump, then don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out." Yes! That's my girl. I'm so proud of her for standing up for herself. When she meets my gaze, I'm surprised to see her give me a genuine smile. I take a seat next to Lucas only because I want to keep an eye on him around Ariel. "Hi, Sebastian. I was hoping I would see you again." My wolf is wagging his tail excitedly that our mate is happy to see us. What changed since last week? "You know this loser?" Lucas asks with a laugh. Goddess, he can't leave soon enough. "One more insult from you and you're kicked out of here," Bella says as she comes to greet me and David. "Damn. None of you guys can take a joke." He mutters before chugging down his beer. Pouring me a glass of Blue Moon, she continues to smile at me. "I want to apologize for my behavior last week. I could really use a friend." Sliding my beer to me, she places a napkin next to it. My heart explodes as I see it's her phone number. "Thank you, Ariel." She lets out an adorable giggle. "You have nothing to thank me for..plus..I think we're soulmates." I nearly choked on my beer. "You okay?" She asks with worry. "Yes." I manage to mutter out as Lucas is in a fit of laughter. "What makes you say that?" I ask. Could she possibly know about werewolves? "Our names are literally from the same movie. It just makes sense." She shrugs like it was obvious. "What movie would that be?" I ask. She stares at me like I'm an i***t. "The Little Mermaid. Don't tell me you've never seen it? It's a classic and my favorite Disney movie! Surely you watched it at one point during your childhood?" I shake my head. "No ma'am. I'm not much of a movie guy. I spent most of my childhood playing video games and doing karate." "How dare you lie to mate!" My wolf snarls in my mind. What was I supposed to say? That I spent my time begging my mom to let me participate in combat training? I did also play video games, so it's not a complete lie. "Do yourself a favor and watch it." She says and I make a mental note to buy the movie tonight. I would do anything she tells me to do. Luna Alexandria joins us at the bar counter as she takes a seat next to me. Alpha sits next to his brother. I contain my smirk when I see the look of jealousy on Ariel's face. "What do you suggest? I only ever drink wine." Luna asks me. "He usually gets Blue Moon. Would you like to try it?" Ariel says to her. Shrugging her shoulders, she says sure. "I'm going to the bathroom. Keep an eye out." I hear Alpha Damon in my mind. The moment he walks away from the bar, Lucas gets up and sits next to Luna Alexandria. "Here. Try mine before you get your own." He suggests as he hands her his second glass of beer. I'm quick to snatch the glass away in case he drugged it. I don't think she would have drunk from it anyway, but safety first. "Dude! What the hell?" Lucas shouts at me.
