Grabbing the glass out of my hand, he chugs it to prove he didn't drug it. "I'm going to hang out with the only fun guy in this place." He mutters as he walks over to David at the pool table. Currently, David was playing 1 versus 2 with two drunken women. He was clearly letting them win as part of his flirting strategy.

"Ariel, I am so sorry on behalf of Lucas." Luna Alexandria says to my mate.

"Why do you guys hang out with him? He seems like a jerk."

"Oh, he is. However, he's my ma- husband's brother, so we tolerate him." I can practically feel the relief from Ariel as Luna mentioned her husband. Maybe David is right, she is playing hard to get. She obviously has some sort of affection toward me, though she won't admit it.

"Be back in an hour." I hear David inform me through link. I turn my head and notice he's walking out of the bar with the two girls AND Lucas. What in the actual hell?

Alpha Damon returns and kisses Luna Alexandria before sitting back down on his barstool.

As much as I want to spend the entire time talking with my mate, I understand she has others customers and is required to make small talk with them as well. I stare at the napkin and still can't believe I now have her phone number. Taking my cell phone out, I type it in just in case I lose the napkin or spill anything on it.

"ALPHA! GAMMA!" I hear David's frantic voice through link.

"SPEAK!" Alpha Damon demands.

"It's Lucas! He accidentally hurt the human girls. I can't find a pulse! Help!"

Without another word, I slam cash on the counter and rush out of the bar. Alpha Damon is right beside me. I'm sure he's informing his mate through mindlink as we run to the motel down the street.

When we storm into the bedroom that David is in, I am mortified. One girl is on the floor with blood pooling around her head. The other is on the floor in the corner of the room with burn marks around her neck. I quickly scan the room and notice that Lucas is not here.

"Where did he go?" Alpha Damon roars out.

"He opened a portal to hell and left me to clean up his mess. I don't know what to do!" David informs us with fear laced in his voice and eyes. s**t.
