“Can't you think of who might have given you such an expensive gift?” Stella asked, and I shook my head. I realized she wasn't the one who had sent the teddy bear.
“It might be from a secret admirer… let me think.” She paused for a moment. “Could it be Jack?” she asked, raising her eyebrows.
“Jackson?”
“Yes. He asked me if you were back just yesterday, and I told him yes. He even went further to ask what kind of present he should give to you as a welcome back gift, and I told him anything nice would be okay. But I never knew he would pick up such a cute and expensive gift.” Stella picked up the teddy bear, which was almost her size. “This is thoughtful of Jack.”
